I had the pleasure of dining at Ryuu Japanese Kitchen, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was packed with fresh, authentic flavors that transported me straight to Japan. The sushi was perfectly crafted, with just the right balance of texture and taste. The ramen was incredible flavorful, with a rich broth that was so comforting.

Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also exceptional....

The food is good but portions are small compared to what you are spending. There are much better ‘bang for your buck’ places at UBC, including Steve’s poke just next door. I believe if this place increased their portions or reduced their prices, it would be much more busy. During lunch rush, every other place is flowing with people except this one, and for a valid reason. Their combos only contain 4 rolls compared to the usual 6 and only about 3 pieces of fried chicken....

Dined in for the first time two months ago and the food was absolutely delicious! I've tried all of the bento boxes as they are my favourite to get a little bit of everything and they never disappoint. I've since returned many more times to enjoy the food here, and the staff are all so friendly. I would absolutely recommend coming here for a bite to eat 10/10
