As a Mexican this is NOT mexican food, it's just tex-mex, the food is ok, I'll say 1000 times better than taco bell for sure.

A fantastic restaurant with excellent food, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations. The food arrived promptly and exceeded expectations in both quality and presentation. Used to go to the Kingsway location for many years and still remember when they won a taco contest on Food Network TV. First time ordering take out from the Fraser Street location. We had the Taco Feast Kit which feeds a family of 4. We picked carnitas and fried fish as the protein and the food was tasty. The portions for the proteins, rice, beans and condiments were good. The only complaint was the pico de gallo. ($13 for a 1/4 cup sized container was excessive) We will go back.
