Went for the first time with family. Overall I was surprised and happy with the service and food. The seat was available right away and food service was great as well. We didn’t get to try much options because we didn’t have the appetite. Next time looking forward to trying more dishes on the menu. I did find their fried rice to lack flavor and just plain rice with chicken which aren’t really traditional Thai rice which comes with egg and spicy sauces.
Food taste and quantity were sub standard for the price.

The service and ambience was really good. We had ordered spring rolls, chicken fried rice and basil chicken stir fry with Jasmine rice. The food was delicious and worth going to this restaurant.

Salathai was one of my favorite Thai place in Vancouver till 2019. 2024 update- Unfortunately, they reduced their quantity per dish by almost 30% and I would not recommend it anymore as its' pretty expensive for the micro quantity of food you get.Parking: Salathai was one of my favorite Thai place in Vancouver till 2019. 2024 update- Unfortunately, they reduced their quantity per dish by almost 30% and I would not recommend it anymore as its' pretty expensive for the micro quantity of food you get.

The food has improved and menu has way more selection. Spice level in curries is not that high so ask if you like super spicy.

This is the quality of mango sticky rice. The sticky rice is not sticky. It’s STONE!!!!! I’m pregnant and I’m craving for this. It’s so disappointed. I will never ever recommended this place to anyone.I can’t believe that I just spent almost $15 for …

We ordered samosas, some drinks and chicken curry mild. This place has really good Indian food is always above expectations. The mild wasn’t spicy at all. If you like spicy maybe add a little bit more. The rice was basmati and really good too. We ordered a rose wine (a little too sweet, but it said that in the menu). Great place for groups. We made a reservation because sometimes it gets crowded. I really recommend it!

We went to Sala Thai by recommendation of a local and we had a great experience. The restaurant was warm and welcoming with an authentic atmosphere. The food was really good. We had the spicy drunken Noodles and a paneang which were both delicious. Highly recommend.
I don’t know how this place is popular. The pad Thai was tasteless. Shrimp? I don’t know how small cocktail shrimp can be considered as shrimp pad Thai. The sauce was bland and the other dish pad see-iew had no flavour with dried chicken pieces. There are many better places for Thai in Vancouver.
