I’ve ordered from them more than five times, both for delivery and in person, but today’s delivery was incredibly disappointing. The ingredients were so unfresh that I couldn’t eat any of it. Uni is supposed to be soft, but today it was actually hard. The other sashimi pieces also weren’t fresh—the colors looked off, and one even had a sour taste.

food is pretty mid unless you get it fresh, store smells really bad, friendly staff but store is closed randomly for "events" so i've be inconvenienced multiple times but this week was the last. Never again.

This is for their service only as I never got a chance to buy as their customer service is so bad. Walked in on a Thursday at 3p- one person was checking out. Picked up a few good looking items from the cold case. Probably five people working there. Waited for five minutes. Not one person greeted me or acknowledged me or said it will just be a sec. I kept saying just leave but then I'd be like I'll just give them one more minute- I'd count to sixty and still nothing- no acknowledgement and no checking out the person in front of me. I refuse to give my business to a place that has such bad customer service- the food looked good- but I am not willing to wait ten minutes because they only have one register and cant figure out to do.

I’m no longer near Sashimiya, so I can’t visit anytime soon, but I used to go every week—sometimes twice a week. They serve authentic, fresh fish at an affordable price. My big favorite was the Chirashi Premium. I love this place and will come back once I’m in Canada again. Big love to Sashimiya! ❤️

Small Chirashi bowl -10 pieces of assorted fish on rice 9/10 fresh fish! They just finished making a fresh bowl as I walked in The Rice ratio is more than fair! Salmon Aburi roll - 7.5/10 flavour was good. Portion of salmon to roll was less than expected. Small grocery store 5 min walk from my hotel (Sheraton Wall) No seating Pleasant employee Extremely fair pricing for chirashi bowl. I will likely return on my next visit to town.

Very good chirashi at a very reasonable price point too! The ginger and wasabi were excellent too — that’s how you know a place serving japanese is OG😄 I did kind of wish that the rice is warmer.. it was kind of cold. All of the sashimi fish tasted very fresh. The shrimp was sweet too! Amazing! There’s a bench outside that you can sit on if you want to eat your chirashi immediately.

Very good quality fish, with some harder to find stuff like Uni and Otoro. Like japan if you order sushi it defaults to have wasabi between the fish and rice so if you don't like that make sure to let them know.
