Definitely one of the best places for sushi/ sashimi in the city. High quality fresh ingredients and relatively good price. Will definitely visit again.

Really high quality seafood in the deluxe Chirashi bowl: possibly best value for quality you can find downtown!

Just figured out this awesome place for Sashimi! It’s like a small cute supermarket for Japanese food + supplies!I love how you can purchase whatever you want and surprisingly they cut it for you! (Didn’t expect that at the first time! ??) Went a bit too often (3 times this week already!) too yummy! ?I really like Otoro& IKA & UNI the most! But a really weird thing was last time when I bought the Japanese style of UNI, I found couple pieces of BC size of UNI mixed in there…?? that kept me wonder…Hope they can give me a good reason for that!Otherwise everything else were quite nice! Just hope they have a more variety of selection for fish and definitely could be a bit cheaper! (Still a bit overpriced from my perspective since I know how Japan normal price ??Overall good experience and worth going! Will continue going in the future!

We have tried the sashimi here a few years ago and it was fresh and delicious! Yesterday we placed an order for the Premium sushi platter, Medium Sashimi and Futomaki rolls for 4 people over the phone; the staff was most courteous and helpful. Everything was wonderful, fish were sweet and fresh and the rice perfectly made; platter variety will change every 2 months. We will definitely return again and to check out the grocery store attached. Thank you for the wonderfully prepared dinner!Parking: We found street parking easily on a Sunday afternoon at 5:00

?? Shouting From the Rooftops About Sashimiya! ??I'm here to shout it from the rooftops: Sashimiya is a wonder for Japanese takeout! ? On a bustling weekday, we ventured into this culinary gem and were not disappointed. Yes, parking was a bit of a hunt ?, but every moment spent circling the block was worth it for the flavors that awaited. The CHIRASHI was a revelation - fresh, vibrant, and utterly satisfying. ?? It's clear why this dish is a crowd-pleaser; it's like a symphony of taste and freshness on your palate. Sashimiya's knack for quality and attention to detail shines through every bite.Beyond the main event, their selection of Japanese snacks and groceries adds a genuine touch, making any visit a true experience. ??️ Whether you're craving some exquisite sushi or seeking authentic Japanese treats, Sashimiya is your go-to spot. So, if you find yourself craving some top-tier Japanese cuisine on any given day, make Sashimiya your destination. Just a heads up—allow some extra time for parking! Can't wait to return and dive into more culinary delights from this fantastic spot! ??

Best place for take-out sushi in DT Vancouver. Always fresh and amazing quality sushi for the price. It’s much more expensive to order through the delivery apps, so recommend going in-person to order/pick-up if you can.

Can't beat Thursdays 15% off platters! Ordered the $128 seasonal sashimi platter (big enough for 5-6 but we only had 3 people eating) with 15% off. Sashimi includes hamachi, conch, abalone, uni, ameibi sweet prawn, aji/snapper, salmon, tuna tataki, red tuna, ika, octopus, saba, ikura...so amazing for the price. Very fresh. Highly recommended! The price sounds like a lot but you also get A LOT of high quality sashimi.

Post-trip depression after a trip to Japan?! This mom and pop shop serves fresh chirashi bowls, sashimi plates, and sushi rolls for such a great price ($18-25) - quality is top-notch too. Truly felt like it could be a corner store on the streets of Japan. The sushi take out spot also doubles as a grocer for popular Japanese snacks and pantry staples. This place is incredible whether you’re a local popping by for sushi after work or just visiting the city. Highly highly recommend.

Amazing food! The premium chirashi has a great selection of fish, scallops, octopus, fish eggs and really really good rice. One of the best chirashi I have ever eaten. And to top it off, it is price very well, for great quality and quantity. Highly recommend!

Wow, I wish we had one of these in Houston! Super fresh, excellent flavor, and nice basic, yet unique selection. Top notch and very memorable. Makes some of the fancy sushi places in Houston seem unworthy when comparing quality. Throw in the substantially lower prices and this place wins hands down. Keep up the great work!

We tried today our lunch here Sashimiya for the first time. The quality of sushi was excellent and the price wasn’t too bad either. So called, We got bang for the buck.
