Found 5 strands of white hair in my dish. Wasn’t very happy. Restaurant was empty other then our group. Spoke to the waitress who was very pleasant, but the grey haired gentleman, owner I presume, didn’t even bother to come over to apologize or make an effort. Kept reading his book. Just called out from the distance “it’s ground up cilantro”. Never see 3” hair like stands from cilantro.

We had the chicken kababs and jeera chicken—both were absolutely fantastic! The kababs were fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor, and my kids couldn’t get enough of them. The jeera chicken was hands down one of the best curry dishes we’ve had from here—rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. So happy to have this gem in lower mainland. Highly recommend!! Rida was my server and she is the best!!

I had the worst experience ever. I ordered 1000 Toyota model 69 and they served me only one butter chicken plus all the customers were engulfing the foods with their hands dropping food everywhere and staining their mouth with curry.it was the most disgusting even more than the Indian street restaurant I visited and that restaurant didn’t even have doors and no windowsill

If you like trying different styles of food this a good place to do it. I went with a group of friends, they all really liked it. I had the ribs and they were good. Good service. Adding pictures to the menu would be a nice addition.

The food is exceptionally terrible, felt like no effort was put into the cooking! When we complained, the owner told us that “this is a different region”. Well, if you are advertising your restaurant as East African, shouldn’t the meals bring a taste of East Africa!!! Wouldn’t recommend at all. We drove for 40 mins across town btw!
Delicious food, very kind host, the cassava was sooo good and the mango hot sauce was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Can't wait to eat here again.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my dad's 85th birthday with 30+ people at Simba's Burnaby. The food, service and decor was amazing! Kurshid and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. I would highly recommend Simba's restaurant to all! And the lamb shish kebab shouldn't be missed!
