Wanting to support small business restaurants , my wife and I went hunting. We saw Simba's Grill next to the Starbucks at Boundry Rd and Canada Way. It was empty when we arrived just before 5pm. The waitress was extremely helpful in explaining the well stocked menu. This is an African restaurant. I ordered the roasted chicken dish with fries. My wife had the Green Curry chicken, which was mildly seasoned. My roasted chicken was very tasty. The fries had a bite to them....
If you have never tried East African cuisine, then this is the place to start your journey. The food is exceptional and the service caters to your needs. Take a chance, you won’t regret it!
We had the chicken kababs and jeera chicken—both were absolutely fantastic! The kababs were fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor, and my kids couldn’t get enough of them. The jeera chicken was hands down one of the best curry dishes we’ve had from here—rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. So happy to have this gem in lower mainland. Highly recommend!! Rida was my server and she is the best!!
