I've been enjoying Simba's for many years. I wish I could say that I am a regular but live in Cloverdale so it has to be a special occasion. My favorite is the Michuzi kuku. It was a sad day when the owners decided to relocate the Edmonds location. While there are many great resturants in my area, I still make the trek to Simba's as nothing compares to the taste of this East African Fusion Cuisine in the lower mainland.
It's one of my recommended restaurants. Their food looks kinda Persian food, but it's not. It was totally different taste. Kebab was great, and Fish was top notch. I got a platter for 3 and it was enough food. We ordered goat biriyani, which was a surprise because I never tasted anything like that. It was kind of new to us. However, it was a great biriyani.

This is my 3rd time here and this time I brought my kids. Again, they surpassed my expectations, I just had to leave a review. The staff are amazing, the food is great and the place just gets you wanting to come back again and again. The homely feeling of East Africa cannot be missed, it’s amazing.
