Solly's Bagelry Reviews
This was my third visit in about 20 years and it will be my last. The owner is beyond rude, to both customers and employees. The food is just 'meh' and overpriced. The only good thing was the coffee. I personally witnessed over 12 people walk out because they were tired of waiting. Siegel's on Cornwall is way more pleasant and has a way better reuben although it is served on a bagel and not the traditional way. When will Vancouver get a proper Jewish deli?
:Love this place, great food, great prices, great environment! My one for sure stop while visiting Vancouver.
🤬owner is a total cow and should be sent to the abbatoir

Solly's Bagelry is a popular destination for breakfast and bagel lovers, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The place is filled with character, making it a great spot for a morning treat. The menu offers a variety of options, including bagel melts, sandwiches, and baked goods. Customers have praised the Mean Reuben sandwiches for being delicious and generous, along with the amazing spreads. The food is definitely delicious, and many enjoy their mini cinnamon buns. While the service is friendly, there may be a wait during peak hours, and some have noted issues with the flow of service.
The bagels are made with fresh ingredients and pair well with cream cheese and smoked salmon. However, some customers have mentioned that the bagels can be firm and dense, lacking the classic chew and sometimes feeling day-old. The atmosphere is fun and festive, with plenty of seating available indoors and on the patio. Guests can enjoy the smell of fresh bagels and baked goods filling the air. Overall, Solly's Bagelry aims to create a great experience for every guest, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and visitors, while also being a cherished community staple that could benefit from a little upkeep.
