Really good cantonese food. Very few in Vancouver west, definitely worth taking out the family.
Found a nice little spot on West Blvd that serves up some tasty food and visited in Apr. The interior is pretty charming.
Ordered the Steamed Shanghai Pork Soup Dumpling ($9.75). They were juicy and large but some of them broke.
The Sautéed Clams in Spicy Chili Sauce ($28.95) were huge.
What we really enjoyed were the Pork Chops with Guava Sauce ($28.95) - super tender and juicy pork.
Also had the Hokkien Fried Rice ($29.95) which was quite saucy.
It is a cozy place. It offers quality food at reasonable price.
An outstanding meal. Seafood sweet and sour soup, Szechuan fish with broth. Salt and pepper pork chops, green beans and eggplant.
All very good. I was disappointed with the lack of sour in the soup until the seafood flavors bloomed in my mouth and I discovered it was subtle and delicious. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and pleasant service.
The dining room was fresh and sleekly gray mauve, quiet and borderline sophisticated. Nice.
I would absolutely return..
Good choice in the Kerrisdale area for Chinese restaurants if you want eg. to avoid going over bridge to Richmond. We had an unusual meat + black cod dish. Waiters wear mask and service was good. Parking is easy along street.
That fried rice is raw and tastes like nothing. The woman at the front desk was annoying and did nothing productive.

The service attitude was so bad, the waiter didn't know it and thought he had a mouthful of glue and couldn't open it.

This Chinese restaurant is smaller compared to others in Vancouver, but they do offer dim sum during lunchtime. While the dim sum selection isn't particularly extensive—mostly common steamed items—the quality is decent. I especially enjoyed the salty fish steamed rice; the portion was generous, and the price was reasonable. One thing to note is the tea pricing. Instead of charging per person, they charge by the pot. We were charged $8.93 for a pot of jasmine tea for three people, which I found a bit pricey compared to other restaurants that typically charge per person.

Tasty food: we got a hot pot, half bbq duck and pasta with seafood. The food was tasty, I liked hot pot the most. A bit pricey.
The waitress looked kinda mad all the time.
