My husband surprised me for my birthday with a dinner at St Lawrence. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The atmosphere and decor are quaint. It took me right back to France.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the tasting menu, and everyone dish was absolutely delicious. We were informed that they change their tasting menu every few weeks, which I think is fantastic. It will allow me to come back often. I highly recommend going.

This was the 3rd visit here and this restaurant does not disappoint. Everything you expect of a Michelin star restaurant is here: culinary creativity, depth of flavours, variety, friendly staff (etc…). Best to Uber/Taxi here as the neighbourhood is a troubled one (although I’ve walked to this restaurant from the downtown core before). The juxtaposition of high end dining in a troubled neighbourhood is odd but everything about St. Lawrence makes it all worth it by a long shot....
