I always get a drink from this particular location and today I’ve received a greeting. Small things but felt sweet. I’ve tried many locations but this particular location has good baristas. Cheers!

What a great Starbucks location. The ceilings are high, there are lots of tables, it’s super clean, and the staff were very friendly. The new spicy falafel pocket was delicious! The only thing is that it’s quite small and would be better if it was a bit bigger for the price.

The Turkey provolone and pesto on ciabatta was delicious as well and the sriracha sauce it comes with has a sweetness to it that’s marvellous and unlike the standard sriracha sauce at the store. The quality of the bread and filling was great.

Love the ginger lemon honey shot and the peach mango kombucha. Great beverages with the meal.

Not crazy about what I experienced and witnessed here today...

I don't usually go to Starbucks but I had a gift card given to me. Whilst speaking to the cashier about a sugar free option, she seemed to struggle with menu choices. To make it easier for her, I settled with a latte, 1 pump sugar free vanilla syrup, and a bottle of water. I explicitly said "bottle" of water several times, because I wanted to carry it with me whilst shopping. Anyways, waited for my less than anticipated drink, and saw the barrista pouring tap water into a cup. I said "oh sorry I asked for a bottle" he goes "oh....ugh, we DO have bottled water but it's like 3 bucks a bottle" trying to reduce my need for a simple bottle of water. This irritated me, as the cashier didn't fully understand my order, English was not her first language. I don't care if you hire foreigners, just please ensure they understand basic English.

Second, a man came in and asked to use the restroom... he was denied. The seemingly, "manager" said he needed to buy something in order to use the washroom. He appeared to be a "marginalized" member of society, and he, rightfully so, argued with them about this. He didn't cause a scene, he expressed his opinion that, they were denying him a basic human right, to use the restroom, which I agree with.

They showed a Canadian born and raised man such unkindness. I spoke with him after this instance and pointed out about 3 other establishments in the area that he could use the restroom without hassle. He expressed to me that starbucks in a multi billion dollar company, and the least they could do was let him use the washroom. I agree.

Starbucks, do better man. Hire staff with better customer service and language skills, most of all, put your manager through a human compassion course.

Atmosphere, food, and drink is typical Starbucks. Sometimes drinks vary depending on who makes. Most staff are friendly but a few seem like to gossip and talk making atmosphere meh. Tons of other options for coffee that are more consistent nearby.

Not sure why you would go to this Starbucks when there are plenty of other coffee shops on this block that are local and provide more for the community

I visited the Broadway/Cambie Starbucks today to purchase several gift cards for my staff. While there, my boss asked me to address an issue with her drink from earlier in the morning. She explained that she specifically requested no liquid sugar due to a sensitivity, but she believed the drink contained it.

I initially spoke with Oscar, who was polite and helpful. He directed me to another employee to discuss the matter. The second employee asked for details, such as the time of purchase, and consulted another colleague, who requested proof of purchase. At that time, I was unable to provide a receipt, as my boss was in a meeting.

While I was calling my boss to gather more information, I noticed a female employee whispering to another employee about my situation. This interaction left me feeling as though I was being accused of dishonesty.

After my boss provided me with the receipt, I returned to the store and showed it to Oscar. He was willing to remake the drink, but I was short on time and unable to wait. I clarified that I was not seeking any compensation but simply wanted to inform the store of the error.

While I appreciate Oscar’s professionalism throughout the process, my concern lies with the unprofessional behavior I encountered from the other employees.

As a regular customer who works nearby at City Hall, I hope the store can address this issue to ensure a more respectful and professional experience for all customers moving forward.
