Tasty tradit and not so tradit Chinese goodies. Hit the place just after opening 2 ensure y'all r getting the fresh-out-of- oven (or steamer) stuff! Later in day delectables get marked down 4 clearance. Some v good deals 2 b had after 5:30 cuz place shutters at 6. If there's any deal left 2 b had! Prices great 2 boot...

Got the steamed pork bun with salted egg yolk (#6) and the BBQ pork rice noodles.Highly recommend the BBQ pork rice noodles! They give quite a good portion for a fairly low price. You do have to wait 10ish minutes if you order it.The bun was OK, but prob wouldn’t order it again. They accept credit and debit if your purchase is over $5.

What an amazing find in Vancouver where there are lots of other Asian bakeries. But this one sets itself apart by offering truly authentic, old world delicacies, freshly made and not at crazy exorbitant prices that newer places now charge! I would drop by every time I visit the city! The shrimp dumplings are gorging with filling, the century egg porridge is soul-filling, the lotus leaf glutinous rice is steaming fresh and even the simple fried noodles was delectable. I might give the HK rice rolls a miss as they were a bit thick and heavy.
Recommended dishes: Pan Fried Pork Buns, Deep Fried Shrimp Dumpling, Stir Fry Rice Noodle, Fried Sticky Rice, Bao

Steamed meat buns are best.Good price and buns are huge.
My favourite Chinese bakery for steamed buns in Vancouver. Always fresh, hot, and as per the photo this pork vegetable bun is large in diameter and of the stuffing which the most important. They have lots of variety from some that are made with whole wheat buns also. They also make some dumb sum items like sticky rice, har Gow, sui Mai, rice noodles, and lots of other Chinese pastries like coconut cream and pineapple buns, etc.The best part is that it's a mid size bakery store which is fairly inexpensive to its competition. You get more than full value here. Parking in Chinatown is cheap so now worries there.Vegetarian options: They do have all vegetable steamed buns available on the menu board.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair easily accessible.

I always order take out from them when I’m in Vancouver. Their congees, rice rolls and dim sum are all so good. The almond cookies and palmier cookies probably the best I have ever had. Portions are big and prices are affordable. I love how they are open early as well!
