My first visit…had no idea this large dim sum restaurant is here on Victoria Drive, my old haunt. Apparently, it used to be another establishment. The dim sum was more than decent…large, tasty and somewhat varied. We only tried a couple of items we don’t usually order. One was the interesting and very yummy durian ball. There’s obviously another menu…noticed a couple who ate only a crab between them. Love that it’s so inviting because of all the books (for all ages)...
if you are more into good food, rather than decor, this is your place (location also convenient), more like a small family restaurant.
We ordered 4 people combo (with 4 dish choices from the selected menu) with a big tub of rice, and 4 bowls of dessert, for only $86 plus tax, plus tips, which is a good price compared to other restaurants (although no soup provided).
Had fish slices on top of Gai Lan veggie, half a Gui Fei chicken, pot of salted...

Typical Cantonese style restaurant. I can’t name them but we ordered the green beans with mince meat, salted pepper shrimp, tofu bowl, sweet and sour pork, plenty of white rice for 12 of us, curry beef, satay with something, scallops with something, lol etc. Pretty solid wok-hei, the essence of Cantonese cooking.
