If food quality and menu prices are your concern, then this is the place for you. Sushi Aji might not look the most extravagant of dining settings, but the lavish servings of great-tasting dishes at reasonable prices will make it a fulfilling night out. Their Chicken Karaage is a must-have item for an appetizer before some generous cut of Sashimi, and the grilled squid was beyond delicious. It was a dinner that left us an urge for a return.... soon

The seafood yakisoba was great. They don't skimp out on the seafood. Ingredients were very fresh.

Had a lovely lunch at Sushi Aji with a group of four .
Comfortable sitting in a booth and catching up .
Very thoughtful patient waiting staff .
We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal with Bento boxes ,teriyaki bowls ,gyoza and sushi .The tempura battered items were delicious, light and crispy .
Highly recommended.

My dinner here was just okay. A few items were lacking flavour (Dynamite roll was a 2.5/5; Spicy Tuna Roll was more like a slurry of meat... flavour was okay texture was kind of off 3/5.) The Udon was surpisingly small and lacked broth but the Katsu filet was quite good and crispy [4/5]) as a three item menu deal, it just didnt feel like a good value like some others like Sushi Hon down the street on Kingsway or Sushi Moon by VCC and the Millenium Line.

Service this evening was great ---- my big complaint here is this place is **chaotic** --- people brought their bikes inside the restaurant/parked a motorized scooter in the hallway, which i tripped over on the way to the washroom. Same group had kids literally crawling on the table and floor... last time i was here a bunch of people brought in their foam swords and LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) stuff into the restaurant... i have never had these kind of issues at other restaurants.

i used to get take out here a lot, almost every week but i stopped getting it because once i ordered $30 worth of sushi (for just myself) and it was such a small box. i was like wow, im being hugely ripped off.

also they roll their eyes at you if you don't tip even if you do take out.

also they ask you if you want chopsticks and things. i used to say no because of environmental reasons. but now i take it b/c they nickel and dime you too hard.

but honestly probably wont return.

Went at around 7PM so it was busy, but the atmosphere was great! Food (we ordered the bento box set) took a little while to be prepared, but I think it’s worth it because everything tasted great. Usually in set menus, one or two items would taste meh, but not this one. It’s great value for the price and the service was great too.
