Beyond amazing really. Everything we ordered was off the scale in terms of taste, texture, temperature. One of the best meals we've had in the last 10 years. Can't recall what we ordered, but here are 2.
Nigiri set
King salmon (we had 2 of these..)
Countless other small bits and pieces.
The service was amazing, very Japanese, extremely friendly.
We left there elated, a complete food euphoria with tastes so amazing we talked about it for a while. One of the chefs my girlfriend reads up on says that he’s been following the Sushi Hill chef for a while and every time he eats there “my eyes roll into the back of my head”. We certainly had that feeling. Sadly we can now never again go to another sushi place in Vancouver lest we want to eat cold fish wrapped in rice and dead seaweed. But it’s a small price to pay. We’re already scheduled to go back April 12th.

I had an amazing time at Sushi Hill in Vancouver on a date with my girlfriend. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh and beautifully prepared, making the experience even more enjoyable.
One thing that stood out was how knowledgeable the waiters were about the menu. They gave great recommendations and explained the dishes really well, which made ordering easy and fun. Their friendly service added to the great experience.
Overall, it was a fantastic date spot with amazing sushi and great service. I’d highly recommend Sushi Hill to anyone looking for quality Japanese food in Vancouver.

It’s low on the high end scale, definitely not at the omakase level but better than your regular nice Japanese restaurant. It’s a nice small quiet place to have a nice meal which isn’t cramped.

My current favourite sushi restaurant in Vancouver. The staff are always warm and welcoming. The sashimi grade is so fresh and top quality! The bluefin tasting is my favourite and the snow crab roll/tuna roll is sooo good!

The best sushi I've had in Vancouver. Although it's a bit on the pricey side, the quality definitely justifies the price. It's superb!

Very fresh. The Hokkaido butter scallops were soso. The mushroom and broth tasted better.
Overall very fresh fish, attentive service, very clean, and dishes came out timely. Food was delicious but would definitely say some things are on the pricier side.
