This is a sushi restaurant my son frequents. Our family occasionally gathers here for a modest meal. One of the great things about this place is that the same friendly owner and staff have been here for a long time, and the quality of the food never changes. Their warm service and consistent effort make it hard for us to go anywhere else. We even celebrated my son's birthday here recently, and it was absolutely wonderful. You should definitely visit you won't regret it. Recommended dishes : Dragon Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Don, and Sushi Sashimi Bento.

Please keep in mind the dedication of the lone sever and the sushi chef working with care. Outstanding quality and flavor at a great price with the bonus of special decoration. Come and experience it for yourself. I've been a regular since this place opened. For the record, their teriyaki flavor is unmatched no other sushi spot even comes close.

This is the closest sushi place to my home and I really want to like it but it's just bad. Today I gave it another try boy they showed me. The agedashi tofu portion was tiny and soggy. The chicken karage was low-quality chicken, mostly chewy fat. I'll just have to walk a few more blocks in the future, and so should you.

Been to sushiville 6 times now and was only able to get in four times. Two times they said we are open but dont have any servers. Another time it was the middle of the day and the waitress said they are not seating anybody and it will be a long wait. The few times they gave us a table the food was excellent. No complaints about the food, highly recommend take out. The waitress staff are extremely rude and it appears like they dont want you in the restaurant. Again. Food is amazing but waitress staff need to learn how to treat the paying public.

We went there with my friend, we waited 15 min, when we had already chosen our order, the waitress came and said its gonna take half an hour, since she is the only person that is serving, and no apology! We just left, but definitely the service wasn’t what we were expecting.

I ordered delivery. The restaurant packs the food very poorly - no cardboard to keep things stacked properly, and no plastic wrapping for the soup, so it spilled everywhere. Also, they don't even tape the bag shut, so the food goes colder way quicker than it should.
The food itself was also very bad. - Teriyaki tasted strange, like a hoisin and sriracha based sauce? - Sushi rice for the nigiri was completely unseasoned and was hard and dry - Tuna was slimy and had a fishy smell to it - Ebi had a fishy smell to it

Delicious sushi spot on Commercial Drive. Parking available along surrounding streets. Easily accessible walking. Patio or indoor seating. I liked the wooden furniture. I wish I took a photo. Great spot. They do well for business.
