The sushi is fresh and above average, and the ambience is casual yet can be considered more upscale than a takeout sushi place. Not a bad option for a first date place, with fancier presentation than a casual spot. Bento boxes are best value options, providing a variety of items. Pro tip: ask for rice with your bento box if you wish...is included but not automatic because some people dont want rice. Be prepared to take your time and wait during peak times...often one server and she can be quite busy.

First time being there. Came in late around 9PM. They set us on a nice table. Serviced directly tea and water. Very friendly. The sushi was amazing. One of my sons had a bento box what looked great and he said it tasted great too. Will definitely be back !

Service is good, prompt, always dealing with my allergy mods. I do wish it was warmer inside though, some heaters might help.

Consistenly good service, great sushi that has never ever made me or anyone I know sick, lots of options, THE BEST miso soup in the city, fun little dry ice featured with upscale combos, delicious salad, tasty aburi and more.
I normally get a California combo, and my California roll I get no avocado or mayo (just crab and cucumber) and they generally can accommodate this and are very kind and friendly about it. So many places make these mods a hard time and they treat me nicely which is so appreciated.
I love sitting on the patio, offers some prime people watching on commercial too haha. Overall love this place.
We have walked by this place multiple times and decided to try it over the weekend while looking for a quick snack before dinner. It was after the usual lunch rush and sometime about 3ish. So there were plenty of seats available.
The food was good and loved the presentation. I liked the layout and atmosphere too - well ventilated, spacious seating. We enjoyed the meal and would visit again. Lots of good options on the menu and can probably be simplified.

I’ve been coming to SushiVille on Commercial Drive for a couple of years now, and it’s easily my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The Cajun Tuna Roll is a must-try, and the Salmon Oshi Sushi is another standout—perfectly prepared every time. I also love their miso soup, Philadelphia Roll, Pink Lady Roll, House Roll, and Crunchy Roll. They have so many selections! On top of the great food, the service is consistently warm and welcoming, which makes each visit even better. Highly recommend!

This is a sushi restaurant my son frequents. Our family occasionally gathers here for a modest meal. One of the great things about this place is that the same friendly owner and staff have been here for a long time, and the quality of the food never changes. Their warm service and consistent effort make it hard for us to go anywhere else. We even celebrated my son's birthday here recently, and it was absolutely wonderful. You should definitely visit you won't regret it. Recommended dishes : Dragon Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Don, and Sushi Sashimi Bento.
