Came for a quick bite later in afternoon. Quick getting seated and service was fast. Had two rolls, the spicy salmon and the yam roll that were both delicious and filling. Portion was a good size and priced well. Would visit again.

While waiting for my take-out order, I saw the chef handling money, AND NOT REPLACING HIS GLOVES. I addressed it, and he denied it. But I saw him.
The food has always been really good here, but what happens behind the scenes is no longer a secret.
From now on, I will find another favorite sushi place.....

I’ve tried most of the sushi places around Robson Street and this one is my favourite. Great portion of agadeshi tofu, and they even made a custom roll for me that wasn’t on the menu.

Came here last night for a quick dinner. First time coming here and was so pleased with everything. Was very quiet which was nice, the server was super nice and friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. We love miso soups but have a hard time finding places that we like for their miso soups however it tastes great. Sushi was so good, all tasted fresh and not dry at all. I 10/10 recommend and would definitely come here again

Always a great experience coming to sushi Yan. It never disappoints. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for more of a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with great sushi and great people.
Great sashimi assortment plate.
I've been here a few times now due to my office being nearby. The food here was so delicious that it's raised my standard for sushi at this price point. The quantity/quality I received here is not available anywhere near my home in North Vancouver which has me unable to justify getting sushi elsewhere
