I’ve been here twice, once for dine in other time was for take out. Both great experiences :) amazing food, amazing service and it’s never really crowded so it’s super cozy.

Sushi Yan is located in the basement of the building and has a good sized dining area. We came during a workday for lunch and regretted it due to the slowness of the service. As 2 out of the 3 of us had to get back to work in the hour, and the service itself took half an hour, it was quite a stressful experience. There is a decent bento box or sushi roll weekday lunch menu ranging from $11 to $17.

NOT A GOOD WORKDAY LUNCH SPOT. The lunch menu is decent value (the bento looked like a better value) BUT the service was insanely slow. Despite arriving early (before 12pm and there only being a few tables of customers seated), it took them a long time to take our order. We only ordered two sushi rolls (the lunch special) and it took them another 30 minutes or so to serve them. We then had to quickly shove down our food in less than 10 minutes because we had work meetings. The sushi roll was well made and tasted good but you’ll be spending over an hour out if you choose this restaurant. It’s worth it to just go to Sushi California instead!!

It's a quiet place where you can relax away from the city's noise and enjoy delicious food. The food is fresh and the prices are affordable.

Sushi is pretty good. Very fresh. Service was only okay. Friendly but not great and the room is in the basement. This is perfect for a quick lunch but not somewhere I would choose for a nice dinner.

I am extremely disappointed about my experience here yesterday. I ordered takeout through phone call, and they made udon soup instead of yakiudon by mistake. They agreed to remake it for me, which is fine. But ended up when I tasted the food, I am 100% sure they used the udon from the soup and stir fry it for me. The noodle tasted way too soft and the children inside is definitely the soup chicken. I will not let rerun to this place.

The sushi is delicious but the noodles are mediocre. I recommend just ordering sushi!
