Pretty fine, but the rolls fell apart easily and it wasn’t the freshest.

My favourite sushi spot. I love the negi toro nigiri, and free tea.

The 24 pieces mixed maki combo with miso soup for $12 is my go to. When I first started dining here it was good! But the last few times the service wasn't good, and the rolls were rushed. I almost gave up going, but decided to give it one more time. Glad I did, it was so fresh. I hope the next time it's good too.

Good prices, they make a good unagi roll, and the toro yaki nigiri is the best piece of sushi I have ever had in my life. I always order one piece to eat before I leave so I can have the lingering taste in my mouth for longer.

I get the veggie bento box every time, it’s always delicious and you get a great amount for a good price.

We were pressed for time to attend a show at The Stanley Theatre - we ordered for family of two - staff were amazing! We had soup, salad, sushi rolls & nigiri, teriyaki beef, tempura shrimp & vegetables and ice cream in 40 minutes - all delicious for $50 for both! Definitely will go there again!

i always ask for no soy sauce but they put it in the bag anyways i am deathly allergic to all soy so when i ask no soy sauce please don't put it in the bag otherwise everything else is grate and i haven't had any other problems. the other issue is the elevator it sometimes gets stuck and it doesn't feel the safest so its hard for someone like me who is disabled to get sushi.

Lovely staff and great food for super affordable prices! The service was warm and welcoming, and every bite was delicious and well-prepared. A hidden gem that offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommend!

I had a frustrating experience at SushiVan. First, the server took down our order incorrectly, and when the wrong food was brought to the table, they left it there despite us pointing out the mistake. To make matters worse, we were charged full price for their error. On top of that, they forgot our drink orders and half of our food items. The staff made us feel like we were at fault for their mistakes, which made the experience even more disappointing. I’m not sure if I’d return, as it’s clear they need to improve their customer service and order accuracy.

We just came in tonight. Brought some friends from out of town for dinner. All of us order some food and a pitcher of beer. We each got our food at different times. Didn't get the pitcher of beer, didn't get the salmon sashimi we ordered and recieved a different item then we originally ordered. When we recieved the wrong item we told them that it was incorrect, they reinforced that we were wrong and it was what we ordered. Even though our order for the whole evening was not even fully delivered and incorrect. I understand things taking too long, but when the mistake is on the restaurant and they make you feel like it's your mistake, that's just bad service.
