“Beef noodle soup - 8/10, the noodles weren't our favourite but the soup was good and beef was extra tender

Dandan noodles - 10/10, saucy, delicious, no complaints

XLB - 7/10, average, less soup than I'd prefer

We got there just before lunch rush started. Thankfully we got a table, as lots of people showed up afterwards and had to wait. The tables are close together so I would avoid constantly getting up when it's busy. Food took a while to come out, probably because they got so many lunch orders all at once.

Parking was ok - it's kind of awkward but when it's less busy there's enough room to maneuver around easily.

Service was decent. There were 3-4 workers that worked quickly to get tables cleaned and ready for the next group.

Overall I would come again, probably during a less busy time.“

“First time visiting Pearl House with friends. We ordered the Clear Broth Beef Noodle Soup，Chicken Thigh Rice and Pork chop Rice— all were delicious and authentic. Service was great, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!“

“I always order the chicken steak bento but the popcorn chicken and BK classic bento are both really good, too. The food is always amazing and they have big portions. If you're suuuper hungry or want to share with someone, try the BK classic (chicken steak, pork chop, sausage, braised pork, AND the side dishes.) I don't live near UBC so I always order through Uber Eats and the food travels pretty well and is always packed securely. Chicken steak is moist and flavourful, and the tomato and eggs are so simple but so good. Their braised pork is delicious as well. If there was a Downtown location, I would eat here all the time...“

“We've tried a few bubble Teas around the city and this was literally the best! Such an under rated place. They used oat milk for our non dairy options that was delicious! Great price on their bubble Teas and they were so friendly. We got the mango milk tea with pearls and Ferrero Rocher slushy bith super delicious. This is our new favorite place.“

“Nice little bubble tea shop right on Robson. Drinks came out pretty fast even though there were a few people ahead of me. The flavor was consistent and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. Good place to grab something while walking around downtown.“

“visited with a friend this evening and ordered 2 small drinks and 3 snacks, altogether the price was quite fair, around $30-something. my friend accidentally spilled her drink, but the service counter attendant was extremely kind, understanding, and helpful. after cleaning up in the bathroom, my friend's drink had been replaced for no cost, and two of our snack plates had arrived, ready for us to enjoy.

small, cozy, and nostalgic, sunflower cafe has been the source of many warm memories for me, and i was pleasantly surprised to create a new one with a friend this evening. will definitely come again the next time i find myself in the neighborhood.“
