My family and I have been frequenting this gem for years. Great option for a relaxed, dine-in experience if you are looking for high quality sushi that isn’t in a primarily-for-take-out establishment on the west side of Vancouver. Their chirashi bowl never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful dinner at Takumi last night. This place is a “hidden gem” if you’re looking for top quality sushi and many other interesting Japanese items. We have had consistently good experiences over a number of years. Great, friendly service in a quiet setting allows good conversation to accompany great food. Highly recommended!
Such a lovely hidden gem of a family-run authentic Japanese restaurant! The atmosphere is so calming and serene, great place to take a loved one or friend to sit inside. The food is light but flavourful, without any additives.The sushi is definitely some of the best around - every piece had a decently-sized chunk of fish and the fish was very fresh. The owners also chatted with us and pride themselves on serving the local community.Would definitely recommend dining in rather than doing take out to appreciate the experience more, if possible.Parking: Street parking

Super authentic little find in the W10 area. If you’re in area and looking for very authentic, fresh, and high quality ingredients, this is THE place. Expect to take your time to eat here, it’s family run so there won’t be a ton of staff, but they are all so friendly and wholesome. Where you will experience the difference in food is how they spend the time to make the food right. Highly recommend for those seeking a quiet night and a nice Japanese meal.
