Had a wonderful dinner at Takumi last night. This place is a “hidden gem” if you’re looking for top quality sushi and many other interesting Japanese items. We have had consistently good experiences over a number of years. Great, friendly service in a quiet setting allows good conversation to accompany great food. Highly recommended!
Such a lovely hidden gem of a family-run authentic Japanese restaurant! The atmosphere is so calming and serene, great place to take a loved one or friend to sit inside. The food is light but flavourful, without any additives.The sushi is definitely some of the best around - every piece had a decently-sized chunk of fish and the fish was very fresh. My family and I have been frequenting this gem for years. Great option for a relaxed, dine-in experience if you are looking for high quality sushi that isn’t in a primarily-for-take-out establishment on the west side of Vancouver. Their chirashi bowl never disappoints. Highly recommend!
