Really wanted to try food here after reading all the great reviews and tried to dine here. We walked in wanting a table for 2 people and were greeted by nice younger gentleman who told us that it would be a 10 min wait. In the meantime 1 party of 3 and 2 more parties of two walked in to wait list after us. An older male staff seated everyone behind us. We asked why we weren’t being seated and he said the others were there first. We told him that wasn’t true and he rudely said he was right. The last couple being seated said that we were there first in the line. We decided to leave as we were so rudely treated. My husband said I guess you don’t need our business and rude staff said he did not need our business. Guessing he must be the manager. We have never been so rudely treated by any restaurant anywhere we have been. Really shocked and upset by the attitude and treatment we received. Glad to know he didn’t need our business but should really treat customers with more respect.

We travels from Kamloops to come and enjoy our food yet again! We will be back soon as those Falafels and Fatoosh salads are forever in my palette and needed for life! Both owners grated us and at so kind! The staff was always welcoming and kind! We had 4 children and usually have issues, but not here!!! Kids loved it! Sorry the pictures aren’t clear! It was in a video and cannot post the video!!

Yesterday we had the joy of dining at Tamam invited by our dear friends. This is not just a restaurant..it is a journey into the heart of Palestine, its land, its people, and its story.
We ordered Mansaf, and from the very first bite it felt as though it was served in my mother’s backyard, rich with flavor, comforting, and deeply familiar. It was not only delicious, but it carried us back home, reconnecting us to Palestine through taste, memory, and love.
What makes Tamam truly special is not only the food but the people behind it. We had the privilege of meeting Chef Tamam, Subhi, and their daughter, who welcomed us with such warmth and generosity. They shared the story of how this place was built and how food became their way of preserving and sharing Palestinian culture. In return, we shared our own memories of Palestine, creating a beautiful moment of connection and belonging.
If you want more than a meal, if you want to experience the flavors, spirit, and resilience of Palestine, Tamam is the place. It’s food for the body and food for the soul. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, and well presented. The roast lamb was very tender, didn't need a knife. Also had stuffed grape leaves and roasted potatoes. For a group get together.

Cute little restaurant with a large covered patio. The smell of lovely aromatic spices greeted me at the door. There were two tables at 530pm when I arrived, but by the time we left the place was packed on a random Thursday evening. Service was a bit slow at first, but so warm and welcoming when we got it. Four different staff members checked on us throughout the meal. The best part was the food, omg. They served the main before the falafel appetizer sampler plate, which was a little weird, but everything was so incredibly delicious it was fine. I can't even pick a favourite, it was all so good. I am still dreaming about the food and the kind staff. I will definitely return.

From the very first phone call, my experience with this restaurant was amazing.
Our original reservation was for 8:00 PM, but even though they were very busy, they kindly accommodated my request to come earlier at 7:00 PM, That alone set the tone for a wonderful evening before I even arrived.
When we got there, we were warmly greeted and seated quickly.
Our server, Sara, was absolutely fantastic, professional, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our experience perfect.
The food looked beautiful and tasted even better, every dish was a “wow.”
Unlike many restaurants where food often comes out late, the timing here was perfect, not too fast, not too slow.
Everything arrived at the right moment and the temperature of the dishes was spot on.
To top it all off, meeting the owners, Tamam and Sobhi, was such a special touch.
They were warm, welcoming, and truly made me feel at home.
It was an unforgettable experience, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
