The Boss Restaurant in Vancouver's Chinatown is a delightful find, perfectly capturing the essence of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant. Its convenient location is just the start. The bakery section offers an array of tempting Hong Kong-style cakes and pastries that are a real treat. The menu features delicious options like savory fried noodles, decadent French toasts, and the excellent Hong Kong-style coffee is a must-try. Don't miss out on their BBQ buns, which are simply divine. It's a wonderful spot to experience authentic Hong Kong cuisine and hospitality right in the heart of Vancouver.

Awesome! This food is just amazing. All this time and I just found this amazing bakery/restaurant in my own neighborhood. If they hadn't asked me to wait outside in the cold for takeout (which I did not) they'd get five stars. Other than the slight blight on their service rating though, i refuse to give them any less than four stars. The food (french toast such as I have never tasted) was nothing short of incredible, with a unique flavour deserving of kudos straight from ones pallette. This patron will be returning for more in short order.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant and bakery are both wheelchair accessible although I can't speak for the washrooms since I did takeout.

The bakery itself is a bit limited in the options but if you sit down and eat, there are so many Cantonese food options available. Since we already had lunch, we came here to grab some drinks and we had the milk tea, the milk tea with coffee, and a red bean drink. All were good but the place is limited to cash payments. You can also request for a food item from the bakery and eat it within the cafe with your other ordered items and they’ll just charge it to your table. The service was efficient and it was overall a great experience.

K.K. 是是但但的生活

The day before, I had pineapple oil + hot milk tea at "Xincheng" for $7.5~?. Today I went to "Tai Pan" for the same price of pineapple oil + hot milk tea for $6.3~. Generally speaking, "Tai Pan" is better than "Xincheng", but that's why After all, the tea restaurants in Richmond are not as delicious as they are!

I don’t know why, but my mind has been stuck in Shenzhen thirty years ago. The environment is like the environment thirty years ago, and the taste is also the same thirty years ago.

The OG of Hong Kong style Western food. Great version of the classic baked pork chops on fried rice. Sweet lunches and HK style breakfast. Closes at 6pm. Great pineapple bun.
