MAR 09/2024 10:25 PM.I am a 67 year old male (SOBER) disabled veteran carrying a valid SPARC ID card confirming my physical issues.I was REFUSED ENTRY/SERVICE by a person who identified himself as HUBERT, the manager.He stated he thought I looked 'suspicious' and did not like how I walked. I am a well dressed, clean shaven individual who is always polite and respectful. Despite my protests I was denied entry and service.I will be taking IMMEDIATE CIVIL LEGAL ACTION in addition to making formal complaints to the licencing authorities of the City of Vancouver and the BC Liquor Control Authorities.James W AlexanderNorth Vancouver BC

Are you looking for a great bar around Hastings and Nanaimo? The Brighton is the right place to go! Great environment with an amaazing service. I came to this place since 20217, and I always had such good time. Sometimes they do have some bands, sometimes Karaoke and so on. It is fun. Love their beers and their deals. Their nachos are great. Yummy Other than that, it is better you try to go earlier or you won't find a table. Cheers

Shae is an absolute doll. Best service in town hands down. Top shelf liquor is undeniably the best in the area which includes some Macallan 12yr, Jura, Laphroaig, Robert Burns, Glenfiddich, among other serious Japanese whiskeys, Scotch's, and Rum's. Food made right in front of you and illuminates the entire bar. Best home-feel bar in the lower mainland I've ever been to.
Shout out to our bartender Drew! He absolutely nailed it even though the bar was super busy we never had to wait for a drink, wish more bartenders were like him! Definitely will come back to the Brighton!I may be nitpicking but...; please get more guiness glasses ?

I only have ever tried one thing there, the Nachos. But I loved the experience, the people, the staff and just about everything else. That's the kind of place I want to go back to. Everyone was fantastic.

This place earns 1 star for cheap drinks. It loses 4 stars for literally everything else, including crappy food and a childish bartender who thinks its appropriate to bump in to customers and make stupid offhand comments about it. Dear barkeep, we don't want to be on a first name basis with the 50 year old man sitting next to us. Stfu and pour drinks.
