There were a dozen plus options of vegetarian rolls. The Berkeley was the best with teriyaki sauce. Other rolls were decent too. Drinks were nice.

Been eating here for over 20 years and sad to see that my meal was rather disappointing. Fist ordered two rolls I have had many times and they were small with less filling and they were flavorless. I order the Sizzling Cow which I have had before and my first bite was really tough and couldn't chew through it and I had to spit it out of my napkin. The rest of the beef was ok but it was swimming in a lot of beef fat and the portion was a lot smaller than what it used to be. They have raised the prices and made things smaller. Sad to see this place quality take a nose dive because it was my favorite for over 20 years, but the last two times I been here it's hasn't tasted good. I won't be coming back :(

Amazing restaurant, since moving to Vancouver just over a year ago it's where I have eat out most regularly. Definitely recommend a sharing platter, very good value for money.

Surprisingly solid even after all these years. Came here 20+ years ago while being going to school and very very good value! ie. Assorted Sashimi for $20.95 had 3 tuna, 3 salmon, 3 toro, 2 taco, healthy double scoop of scallop, 2 saba, shrimp, tamago. Really good for the price

Have not been to the Eatery in several years, so decided to check it out again over lunch hour on a Saturday with a friend. Found it dark and dingy during the day, but sat near the window so had some daylight. Probably much better ambience in the evening. Did not enjoy the food at all. The Sushi Pizza Bites were horrible. The Gomaae and Tuna Turner sushi roll and deep fried tofu was just okay. Very disappointed and will not be returning or recommending.

One of the best sushi places in town. Good udon, good sushi and good tempura. 8/10. Needs some serious ventilation. A sweaty and nauseous place after 7 bites. Also, why a digital menu? Please bring back real menus please. Overall pleasant experience.
Good place for drinks and snacks. Check out the daily specials menu for drink deals and their vegetarian sushi rolls. Be sure to ask for no mayo, as some of the sushi rolls might seem vegan in the description but then have mayo drizzled on top.

Well now this is a fun place to eat out. Atmosphere is lively and friendly. There are a lot of tables packed into a small space but it doesn't feel like it. It might not be quiet on a busy night but you'll still be able to hear your party talk.
Decor is... everything you can imagine on the walls. I want to return on a quieter day just to examine the decor better.
And oh dang the food is superb. I always get tempura at sushi places and this place did not disappoint. I also highly recommend any of the sushi donuts; a well made, clever idea with a variety of flavours in every order.
Service was energetic and available without being overbearing. Staff seemed to have a good sense for when we needed something and were quite patient considering how busy it was.
I will absolutely be back and I'll be bringing friends.

Used to be one of my favorite places. Quality has dropped massively over the years. Absolutely not worth the price. It feels like you’re paying for the atmosphere, which is unique, but also impossible to hear anyone you’re with.

Today I ate the vegi yaki udon noodles. It was very tasty, also it came out of the kitchen in a very fast time, steaming hot, and the smell was incredible. Whichever kitchen team that had prepared my food for my wife and I did an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu. The table next to me had ordered a plate of wings which looked really good. I am planning on getting that next time. I will definitely be recommending this spot to my family and friends. It is my new favourite gem.
