What a clown of a server the guy from that lived in Dubai is, extremely rude and unprofessional. He lost 6 happy loyal long customer of the bar, he made inappropriate and racial jokes with me and wife and our friends. I cant even say how inappropriate this guy was. What a shame we spent so much time there.

The Marquis is an absolute vibe. Savio is the best of the best. We planned to go elsewhere after one drink but decided to stay because of the top notch service and atmosphere. Thanks for the best night!

Most of it was an accident but the response from staff is what elevated it to the worse experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I made reservations for dinner before attending a play in the area. They took our drink orders and when I asked what the non-alcoholic options were, one of the older waiters told me it's a bar, order a drink! I was taken by surprise, but I think he was trying to joke with me. Besides several mistakes getting one of the drink orders and then not bringing all our food at the same time (there were four of us and one of us had to wait while the other's food and drinks were delivered well ahead of time); the real problem started when the younger waiter accidentally spilled a full glass of water onto my lap! I was drenched. He went to get a cloth to wipe the table. I had to ask him to bring more napkins as my clothing was wet to my underwear and I needed help wiping myself as dry as possible. He didn't do a very good job wiping the water on the seats and I had to do it myself. So as the guest, I was bending over the bench seat and wiping it down myself. There was a pool of water on the floor, and we were not offered another table, so I had to sit back down on the wet bench seats with water at my feet. The waiters then quickly brought us the bill to pay right away without offering to refill our drinks or letting us order anything else for dessert. I think I was just in shock and did what I was told and paid the bill. A real kicker was as I was debating what to tip (after all it was an accident, so I didn't want to leave nothing) the machined timed out and automatically went to 20%!!! My husband said just to pay it as they will take forever figuring out how to correct it. I did ask if we would be offered a dessert while we dried off and the younger waiter just giggled at me and left. I'm not entirely clear if he understood what I was asking. Then the older waiter came by and said we had to leave as he needed to turn the table over. It had only been an hour after my reservation and there were other empty tables in the restaurant.I did leave but came back to complain to the manager, who I was told is called Diego, that I was not happy with my experience and now I had sit through a play in my wet pants. And the real topper was being told to leave and not allowed to dry off first when there was obviously no need for my table. It was still empty when I came back and the pool of water was still under it. Nevermind, that they didn't do anything to make up for the accident. I wanted to be reimbursed for my meal. He said to give the restaurant another chance and offered to email me a $100 gift certificate to come back. I asked my husband if we really wanted to every come back again and he said sure we can give them another chance since the restaurant was one of the arts club restaurant partners and we had season tickets.Well I'm still waiting for the gift certificate that the manager offered to email me. I left a message for the manager with my cell number both on his cell and on the machine at the restaurant. My husband went to the restaurant to speak to the manager again who was not there and left a message with his number. We have never heard back from anyone at the restaurant. What started off as some ill-mannered jokes and an accident has unnecessarily escalated to the worse experience ever because of the lack of customer service and the manager not keeping their word. We were very reasonable at the restaurant and I am at a lost as to why they would choose to treat us this way. All I can say is that I will be sharing my experience with many others and hope that nobody else still willing to dine there is never treated this way.
