It was really a fine dine restaurant and food was really amazing
The dinner salad on the menu read as having blueberries, strawberries & apple. I maybe received 3 blueberries, strawberry that had been cut so small that it didn’t even amount to one strawberry and apple bits cut so small it probably amounted to one slice of apple. The mixed greens & vinaigrette was fresh & delicious, especially the vinaigrette, but this is how this salad should be best described. The added ingredients were almost absent. My cousin ordered the stroganoff which was quite rich without much effort in the presentation, and the piece of halibut my other cousin got on the gigantic bowl of lettuce greens (same as mine,) was a very small piece, possibly 4 ounces. We were not offered fresh cracked pepper or fresh graded cheese for the pasta. I requested it for my cousin in which a very small amount came in a side dish. The worst of it all was that there was actual rap style music playing as we dined. The restaurant over all had a confusing feel to it. I wasn’t sure if it was considered finer dining, a lounge, or a casual hang out. It has so much more potential, but for the cost, service, and experience this was the most disappointing experience out of the forth establishment we ate at this week. We won’t be back based on the lack of food, care, and price as a customer who really felt invisible, ignored and not cared for on all levels.
Overrated and overpriced. Came in with a group of 5 and ordered the fries and halibut. The fries were okay but nothing exceptional as other reviews had referenced. The halibut was dry, the rice had full peppercorns in it and the broccolini was undercooked. The whole dish was under seasoned and not well executed. The non-alcoholic drinks were overpriced and water was not refilled unless requested (multiple times). Will not be returning.
I visited The Red Accordion with my wife on a vacation to Vancouver. We stopped by right as they opened, at 10am on a Saturday. We are from an area a few hours ahead, so we were ready for some mid-day drinks.
We had 4 of the specialty cocktails and they were all super unique and delightful!
We didn’t have reservations, but luckily they were not full and had an available table on the upstairs balcony. It was a great environment and super laid back and relaxing for a morning drink.
The servers were all very nice and attentive.
We will definitely come back if we visit Vancouver in the future!
Really cool spot down near the park.
The servers were awesome and very accommodating.
Great burger. Everything made in house including the ketchup.
Atmosphere was 5 stars. Underground hip hop on the speakers, lounges. If I lived in the area I’d definitely hang out here.
Been here three times. First two times were great.
Third time, I ordered the beef rib stroganoff and it was straight up eye round. I legitimately couldn’t tear the meat apart with my hands, it was so odd, cause they’ve always knocked it out of the park, especially with short rib. It wasn’t short rib. It was unfortunate cause the meal was good but it honestly felt like they maybe have new management who tried changing the recipe to save money. It was like chewing leather. I tried swallowing a piece and I felt like I was gonna die when I swallowed it. You could have chewed it 300 times and it wouldnt have been better. They did say their chefs are vegetarian and aren’t good with beef, which is absolutely wild.
My friends got the lobster gnocchi and the burger. The gnocchi was good. The burger was good.
Honestly the majority of the dishes are amazing here, but straight up, that trash nonsense with the eye round rubber steak instead of the short ribs needs to be rectified. I’ve taken people here 3 times, and im so glad it was only my meal that was bad, because every time I have, my friends have ranted and raved about how wonderful it is.
Please fix that.

The portion size on the mussels is madness, also really delicious. I'm pretty sure they squeeze fresh lime and lemon juice for their crisp cocktails. Lovely place.

Happy hour was good. Atmosphere was great. Not sure if I was more pumped for the happy hour and food or that happy Gilmore was playing on VHS when I walked in on a 9"

Came here randomly just to check it out because it has such a cool exterior. Hands down best decision I've made when it comes to a restaurant in Vancouver. Every dish was amazing, service was extremely friendly and welcoming and the ambiance is super cozy. I'll be back for sure.
