I ordered an chicken sandwich for lunch. It was with bacon and like pickles, the bacon seemes do raw that i thought it was the pickles. It was SO spicy and didnt say this on the menu. I told them this and just ate the fries because i was super hungry, and was still charged for the entire burger.
Will not come back.

My mom, my two kids, and I stopped in for a late lunch. Luckily we ate outside as the second you step in the house smells old and musty/mildewy. One meal was fine and came as requested. The side salad I ordered with my meal came with a hair in it that didn’t match any of us at the table. The medium burger that I ordered my two kids to split came raw in the middle. They took it back to fix it and admitted it was totally raw, but by the time it came back, my mom and I were all done eating. Service was slow and left a lot to be desired, and with the issues with our food I wouldn’t return and can’t say I recommend it. I expected more after reading these great reviews.

I took my partner to this restaurant for our one year anniversary. Initially it was great, the atmosphere was really cool, the cocktails were delicious, and the burrata appetizer was satisfying.
For the main entree we both ordered the steak that was said to come with chimichurri, steak, potatoes and vegetables. The waitress told us that they did not have any more potatoes and they would replace it with fries. We said that was fine. The meal came out and it had steak, fries, veggies but no chimichurri sauce. The steak was unseasoned and overcooked. The veggies were not seasoned and was a very small portion of the dish.
Overall we were frustrated by the lack of value from the dish and not having full transparency about all the missing ingredients ahead of time. Had we known we would've potentially gone for another item. The waitress was minimally communicative and service was slow overall. In the end we left feeling disappointed.

i stumbled across this restaurant when passing by and was captivated by how cool it looked. it’s one of those restaurants which you see and instantly want to eat at, this was firmly supported by the high google reviews.
we ordered the chicken wings 9/10
lobster gnocchi 6.5/10
beef stroganoff 5.5/10
i think i just had high expectations but the pasta did not hit and was definitely not worth the price point.
recommend the wings and stopping by for a beer but if you want good pasta you’re better off going to salvio volpe at this price point

The food here is genuinely good and the atmosphere is great—that’s why it’s been on our late-night dinner go-to list for a while.
But there’s one recurring issue that keeps disappointing us. There’s a lounge table that seats four, and whenever we come a bit later, we’re told it’s reserved for large parties. Fair enough—but we’ve personally seen only two guests seated there on more than one occasion. Even when it’s just an hour or two before closing, the rule seems to be enforced without exception.
One time, because we were “only two,” we ended up squeezed into a tiny table with four dishes, barely enough room for water glasses. Meanwhile, that same four-top was given to two people right after us, who only ordered two drinks and stayed the whole time. And today, we were told the same thing again—hard not to laugh at the inconsistency.
We get that policies are policies, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily unpleasant. A little flexibility—and especially a kinder approach—would go a long way. Too bad to lose what was our neighborhood go-to spot, literally just next door

The Red Accordion is a unique experience with a very relaxed atmosphere. The decor is vintage and beautiful, like hanging out it my grandma’s living room. All of the staff were very friendly and chatting with them felt very casual. WILL be back again

PRO'S: The Red Accordion restaurant is a comfortable, casual neighborhood place. We split an order of curried, fried brussel sprouts which were delicious. She had fair beef Stroganoff and I had baked chicken with fresh farm grown vegetables. We choose a Canadian Sauvignon Blanc from a limited, well selected wine list.

Came here on a whim after running some errands. It’s a nice, cozy and intimate spot. We sat downstairs.
Ordered a unique feature cocktail and it was pretty good! Will have to try some others next time.
The mussels were absolutely delicious - and the fried dough they served with it to dip in the broth was top notch.
I ordered the lobster gnocchi and my partner ordered the short rib stroganoff. The lobster gnocchi was good but not my favourite gnocchi - the plating was gorgeous but the pieces are just too big in my opinion, I was cutting them in half and with the sauce and lobster bits. Overall, I felt like the dish could have used more lobster flavour as it felt a bit one note.
The braised short rib stroganoff on the other hand was amazing - our waitress asked if my partner would like to add truffle for an additional $5-$7 depending on the variety, and he went for the $7 one as it’s apparently more potent. Unsure why but when we had the plate we felt like we didn’t really taste the truffle even though the shavings are there. We recommend this plate but would pass on the truffle next time!
Still a great experience and will come back and try other dishes!

The gnocchi was awesome. Picanha, not quite. The meat was tough & veg didn’t have much flavor than smoke. The potatoes were awesome and crispy though. Overall, good vibes, and I’d go if I want good pasta.
