Will rate 5 stars with no doubt. Have been there couple of times and already met 2 bartenders. Both of them are nice and considerate. My girlfriend and I are both Asian but we were never under any situations like they are only kind to Caucasian people. Rumors stop with the wise or probably just some special situations… Anyways… Luv da place🙌🫶

I went just for a beer with my dog. They allow you to stay in the patio. They were kind bringing water for my dog, but i would like to them allow dogs inside

A cozy and neighboring pub with nice music, delightful menu and affordable prices, but, unfortunately, the bartender happens to be a very rude lady, especially mistrustful of those customers that are not regulars, mainly if they are not Caucasians. In my own experience—a Mexican guy but Canadian citizen as well,—she kept an eye on me since my very arrival, and during my short visit, she didn’t give me a break, counting the two or three beers that I ordered meanwhile, and warning me every single time that she would stop serving me at any time, if she decided to do so. I was confused about her rude attitude, since I was perfectly aware of my own condition. At the end, she refused to serve me another drink, and worse of all, she took away my glass from my own hand. The best proof of my awareness is that I didn’t reply to her with screams and shouts, as she might deserve it fairly. Instead, I just walked out, but of course, swearing to God quietly that I would never come back there again, ever! I truly think that the owners and managers must keep an eye on her, since her bad attitude towards me could be a patron of racism and discrimination held by herself, behavior that is against the main values of the Canadian society.

Finding a gem like The Yard is such a treat - genuine people, fair prices, authentic pub ambiance. Will try the nachos next time if the Quesadilla was a standard (huge, healthy and delicious)! Recommended.

Stopped in on the way to the airport. They weren't kidding when they were saying the best in the city quesadillas. They were surprisingly spectacular. Service was great and the beer was cold.
Really yummy burritos! And pet friendly patio! Awesome service and even better food and drinks. Will be coming back again for sure! 100/10

We were trying to find a quick pet-friendly patio to get a bite between flights and we had only a few hours. We passed by The Yard and thought 'Meh - this will do'. Wow - not only were the drinks reasonably priced and the place full of friendly locals but the server was incredible!!! She was efficient, friendly, helpful and was also responsible for cooking for the whole place behind the bar. The nachos were SOOOOOO good. Maybe the best I've ever had and the two of us didn't come close to finishing them. What a gem of a place in South Granville. I'll definitely be back.
