I recently went to this café with a cousin and found ourselves a seat. After a while, the waitress walked to our table with a grim expression and asked to see our ID’s before she could serve us. I believe that was a clear example of racial profiling because we are Black.
If ID checking is mandatory, then we should have been asked for our ID at the entrance but not when we were seated and waiting to be served.
Everyone in there was just watching us, and that felt humiliating, so we had to leave.
The ambience was awful, so I would score them a 1 out of 10.

The lady server at Wednesday evening was the worst server we have ever encountered. Right after she told us to grab a seat she said
“don’t get too comfortable, I haven’t checked your IDs yet”
We had to flag her down 30 minutes after we sat down to order food even though there were only 5 people in the whole bar.
They were gonna have karaoke night n clearly wanted us to leave. Told my gf they didn’t have orange juice n gave her some sugary orange mix but forgot the second round and finally gave us orange juice screw driver.
$14 for single vodka screwdriver?
She walked away every time middle of us trying to order more food.
Bitched about having to make food,
“The hot dog takes 12 steps to make”
she announced to the people at bar, pointing our table cause we ordered food from the menu YOU gave us.
charged me more for wine even though we discussed about Wednesday price, she quoted me that higher too btw. Maybe update your website saying $6
Thought we will have a nice bar to go to in our neighbourhood……
We were there for 2 hours while she checked on us 1 time and we had to call her 2 other times cause we really had to.
Found another review going back one year probably mentioning her, clearly no one cares

Food was quite good, however my parter and I felt extremely unwelcome by the service.
After taking our food orders, our waitress immediately approached the patrons at the bar and was loudly complaining to them about how much effort it takes to cook food and was pointing at our table while doing so, making us uncomfortable for doing so much as ordering off the menu, did not check on us once after that, anytime we tried to flag her down she acted as if we were bothering her.
I had also ordered a screwdriver to which she let me know they didn’t have the proper ingredients and she would have to use an orange substitute, which I was completely fine with, however my refill had regular orange juice and all the normal ingredients?

We held a party with my friends here. We drank beer and ate different food. The chips and salsa is very delicious. We spent a wonderful time at this bar.
When I ordered a glass of wine, I think they giggled behind my back. Loser bar. Will not recommend. Will def not return :P

Will rate 5 stars with no doubt. Have been there couple of times and already met 2 bartenders. Both of them are nice and considerate. My girlfriend and I are both Asian but we were never under any situations like they are only kind to Caucasian people. Rumors stop with the wise or probably just some special situations… Anyways… Luv da place🙌🫶
