There isn’t an option to order drinks with your own to-go mug through the kiosk. I put in my order normally and go to the counter to tell them I want my drink in my personal mug. They see my order is down the line and say “not yet” and don’t take my mug.
25-minutes later I get my order and it’s served in a disposable cup. I let them know I wanted this in my own mug, lady points to the receipt and says “well it doesn’t say that here”
Staff are clearly overworked and understaffed, but there’s something seriously wrong at this location… Tim hortons should never take 20+ minutes especially when people are trying to purchase food between classes.

I come here early morning shortly after 0700 so this may account for my positive experience among all these negative reviews. The kiosk to order was easy to use, and the order arrived fast.

I believe this location is operated by UBC. I feel like they've been trying to streamline service by doing everything except hiring more staff. Today, I counted 3 staff on duty. Seating space has been replaced by standing room to accomodate people waiting 20+ minutes for food. At the time of writing, that's 20 people waiting and growing. If you are not comfortable with kiosk technology, avoid this location as you are on your own; staff are under directives not to help customers at the counter unless they are paying with the UBC Card.
I would like to compare this location to the impersonal service if a vending machine - but a vending machine is faster and gets your order correct.

Despite being a regular customer, I’ve noticed quite a few changes over the past few years. First, the kiosk now has fewer available options for instance doesn’t show pumpkin latte on kiosk. Second, I’ve ordered a muffin nine times this month and requested for it to be warmed up each time, yet it’s always been served cold. Lastly, I have a unique name, and every time staff see it, they make comments and laugh about it out loud this happens consistently, without exception, which has been quite uncomfortable like if it happened once I’d prob just ignore it but this has happened over 30 times within just a few months.

I rely on Tim’s everyday for a quick drink and sometimes, a bagel! I feel like it is a very simple thing to spread cream cheese evenly on a bagel. This has happened on numerous occasions and I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but in the end it will take maybe an extra second to do the job more effectively. I understand it gets super busy and working in that environment is stressful but it’s still important to provide guests with proper service.
Edit: first bite of the bagel, COMPLETELY stale and untoasted, isn’t that perfect.
Also, the kiosks were a terrible choice..

28 minute wait for a Medium coffee…. This location just gets worse and worse. Get rid of mobile ordering!!! They are serving ticket numbers out of order too. It’s chaos. I wish Tim Hortons corporate would visit this location lol

I came to Tim’s today, and I know you guys are really busy but it took 35min to get a bagel. They really need to hire more people because they seemed overwhelmed and waiting times are unreal
Made an order for an iced coffee, 30 minutes beforehand. I arrived for pick up and they told me it was almost ready.
For 30 minutes I played this game of back and forth, they couldn’t be honest and just tell me my order was still going to take a long time.
Honestly very disappointed in what Timmy’s is turning into. I did not pick up my coffee that morning.
