I hate that they use a Teflon-coated rice cooker pot. Over time, that coating can wear down and end up in the food, while people think they're making a healthy choice. I just hope they at least don't use metal spoons to scoop the rice, since that can scratch the coating even more. Very disappointing.

The food is delicious, fresh, and prepared to high standards of cleanliness. The service is excellent, and the staff are professional, courteous, and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for quality, healthy meals and outstanding customer service.

My first time at Tractor - I was expecting a bland salad but was pleasantly surprised with a really tasty bowl. I got the half/half base with dressing, the lemon kale, harissa chicken and chilli lime dressing. A clean, spacious location too, would be nice to work/study in there.

Nice choice of healthy food. The cafe was clean and cozy, with a lot of sitting places here.
We ordered two warm bowls, the Moroccan Chicken and the Braised Beef, and the portions were generous. The beef one was a little spicy, while the chicken was slightly sweet because of the apricots. Both were tasty.

We went at 6 pm. They were out of multiple items and didn't have staff to handle 4 customers. Not sure why they try to stay open to 8:30 pm.

Tractor is a gem if you're looking for healthy/vegan food in a pinch. Their tofu scramble is solid and considering it's hard to find a breakfast place that offers tofu scramble, it's a good/reliable option for plant based or health conscious omni food.

Pricing is fair, especially for their breakfast. A bit pricier if you're getting dinner, but still sub $20 for a quick, healthy meal with a diverse whole food ingredients is good these days. It's a safe bet - but not a sacrifice for quality/taste at all.

This location is spacious and close to the convention center, Harbour Air, or the Hullo ferry - so great if you're coming in for/from one of those.

Very small and inconsistent portion size. I order these bowls often because they travel well and are healthy. But for $25 the portions are a bit of a joke. See attached photo. Stop chincing out!

I ordered the Moroccan chicken and was quite disappointed with the portion of chicken served. The plate was very large and mostly filled with rice, salad, and sauce, but there were only four very small pieces of chicken. The protein portion felt extremely disproportionate compared to the amount of carbohydrates on the plate.

To try to compensate, I even paid for an extra half portion of chicken, hoping it would make the dish more balanced. Unfortunately, the additional portion was also very small and didn’t feel worth the extra price.

Overall, the flavor was fine, but the portion of the main ingredient was surprisingly limited for a dish centered around chicken. If you’re expecting a balanced meal with a reasonable amount of protein, this may not meet your expectations.

Great vegan options at Tractor. Good, quality, exciting food combinations served in a vibrant dining location!

Was in town for a tradeshow. Came here for breakfast every day as the food was excellent and reasonably priced, and nice open interior and chill atmosphere. Great latte’s. Would recommend.

Dined here for the first time and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they explained how everything works really well, which I appreciated. The salad was honestly amazing, not your typical salad at all, very fresh and flavorful. Overall, a really pleasant first visit and I’d definitely come back.

I come here for lunch a lot and the food is good and fresh for a light lunch. Very customizable too. But yesterday I ordered online on their website at 12:09, ready at 12:15 as per the confirmation email. I didn't get my lunch until almost 12:50. It was packed! I don't know why online orders don't get priority over the people lining up? I would have gotten my lunch faster if I just lined up and ordered when I got there.
