I had their classic chocolate cake, and it was absolutely superb. It was rich and moist, with just the right level of sweetness, not overwhelming at all. The cream on the side added a nice contrast and complemented the cake perfectly. I also had a café latte, which was smooth and full of flavor, definitely worth mentioning. A perfect way to end the meal!

I'm one to enjoy a sweet treat once in a while, and when I think of cake, I think of True Confections. I first visited this spot when they were at Alma and Broadway. They upgraded their location, while maintaining impressive baking standards! The slices are generous, varying and VERY tasty! Highly recommended for a dessert date night!

Visited at 9pm on a Saturday ... we snagged the last seats. Over the counter service was friendly and our desserts/ beverages were delivered to our table within 10 minutes or so. Checking out the desserts in the display cases can be challenging when it's busy since it's quite cramped in that area. We miss their old location off Alma from years ago but nevertheless our slices of red velvet, diplomat and hazelnut choc mousse was spectacular.
