My friends and I came from Vancouver, Canada to try this. I love Vietnamese coffee and was so excited to find a Trung Nguyen Cafe. The options are amazing, the decor and interior was beautiful. Most of all, the girl that was working at the cash register was the sweetest. She seemed so genuine, so informative and the kindest person. I would highly recommend.

The food was alright, but what really irked me was how long it took for it to come. I swear I must have waited 40 minutes for 2 dishes and a spring roll. Totally understand it’s a small shop but the wait for what we got was ridiculous.
Oh so incredible!!! I would eat this every single day for the rest of my life.
We ordered the No. 2 Special Beef Noodle Soup and the No. 26 Banh Canh Cua, which was recommended by the guy who seemed to be the owner. We enjoyed both dishes, though we found the soups a bit on the sweeter side. I really liked the udon noodles in the Banh Canh Cua but wished it had been a bit spicier.
My family enjoyed #7 (dry noodles), #5 and #6 (pho bowls), and I thoroughly enjoyed #39 (lemongrass chicken on rice). Food was served a little slowly and not all at the same time but that’s because the kitchen is literally run by one person (the wife, I believe) and the front of house is run by the husband. He was very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I did not like were the spring rolls. Overall would highly recommend to anyone craving authentic delicious Vietnamese food that comes in huge serving sizes. (The chicken is SUCCULENT!)

INCREDIBLE. If you want the real deal, come here. If you want the white washed version, look elsewhere. Their broth is fire! Noodles cooked perfectly! I'm coming back every time! They even have complimentary iced tea! I am aghast!

Absolutely my favorite spot for pho in town! The broth is simple yet the taste is sophisticated, love the mom and pop restaurant feel, the owner and his wife are very nice and lovely people. Always enjoy the down to earth hole in the wall atmosphere. Please be patient and gentle when waiting for your food especially on weekends when it's busy, sometimes it takes a while as it is a family run business.......but it's well worth the wait!

The best bún chả cá (number 49 or something on the menu) I can recommend in Vancouver so far. The rest of the menu is ok as well.
