The Bun Mam - Seafood fish sauce with vermicelli soup here is so good and authentic. There are not many places serving this food in Metro Vancouver.Highly recommend to try their Vietnamese coffee - cà phê sữa đá. I love it so much ?

Low key, friendly, delicious. Love the hole in the wall vibe here. Didn't have the soups which was silly of us, but the need and chicken we had were great. Will be

Hole in the wall don't judge a book by its cover! With this little restaurant operated by only 2 people. Food is great and serivice is efficient. Love this place! Was introduced by a friend that always comes here for their Bun Bo Hue and Banh Canh Cua. My fave is the Banh canh cua and iced Cafe su da!

Finally found the time to go to this Vietnamese restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant might not be the most awe inspiring, but their food is surely worth the visit. The Banh Canh Cua (crab noodle soup) was my reason to visit and it did not disappoint. The udon was so chewy. The broth was amazingIt's so fresh and rich at the same time. They also have a lot of ingredients, including big chunks of real crab meat. The Pho Bo Vien (beef meat ball pho) might look simple, but it's also really good. Their Cafe Den Nong (Vietnamese coffee) has a very rich coffee flavor. You get the sweetness from the condensed milk but also the bitterness from the coffee. Everything we ordered had such a high quality and it felt very authentic. Highly recommend to this!

Trung Nguyen Cafe is one of the older but original pho noodle cafes in Vancouver. This place is quite hidden on Kingsway near Knight Street. Their pho dishes are so full of flavour and freshest ingredients, I am glad they have not changed their signature recipe especially for their wonderful pho broth.

The best Banh Can Cua in Vancouver! I stop by everytime I am in town. Owners are a sweet couple and the service is great. The food is always worth the wait! Don’t sleep on this spot!

Bun Bo Hue and the Bun Rieu were excellent - both had great amounts of meat and pork blood. The Bun Mam is easily the best I have ever had. Very flavourful broth and friendly owner. Certainly one of the best places I have tried so far in Vancouver - will definitely be back soon. Make sure to bring cash as this place is cash only.

Basic service, the most delicious Bun Rieu, served in a stuffy, humid restaurant. Avoid on a hot day, but otherwise, its fairly easy to ignore the tired-looking interior

Loved everything about it. Still the same lovely couple working hard away. The noodles, coffee. The perfect place for comfy food!

Small and old Vietnamese restaurant. Grew up in Asia so the old interior did not bother us at all. The owner was friendly and food was very good! We had no.17 bun bo hue and no. 26 banh canh cua. Both are very flavorful and packed with lots of ingredients. Spring roll on the other hand was just okay, but we will definitely come back to try other items on the menu!! The only downside is open for lunch hour only plus cash only (would be nice if they accept debit but the bank is literally just across the street)
