The food tastes good, but tons of msg. We were so thirsty after. I gave a 3 star also because I could smell the dish soap/detergent on the plastic cups and bowls. I mean if I'm paying $25 for a bowl of noodles, I would like to have it in a ceramic bowl and drink from glass. Maybe that's just me but it really affected my appetite.
I was visiting my brother in July 2025! He brought me tot his restaurant! I enjoyed my time there! The service was good! I ordered the green curry with chicken! And some wings in entree! The green curry came in a huge bowl! I decided to put some on top of the rice! I had to reorder more rice because they was so much sauce! 😊
I’ve often ordered take out from Unchai but decided to dine in today - first time in their new space. It was very warm inside but bearable. I ordered a pad Thai with tofu - not something I’d order for takeout as the noodles stick together after about 15 minutes. However I was shocked when my bowl arrived and the noodles were already a mushy, soggy, sticky mass. Way over-cooked. And very bland.
