Van Hot Dog Reviews
VERY GOOD HOT
This is a novelty chain hot dog place - while interesting it's not amazing and rather pricey for what it is. The drinks are all overpriced. The lemonade was almost $5 and was so sugary that two people could not drink it.
My daughter's first time to Vancouver so of course had to take her to Japadog. Chose this location as it had seating and took credit card. Kind of an overwhelming menu! But we chose the karage and katsuy dogs plus the overflowing fries. It was all so good! We wanted to come back to try the other stuff but we ran out of time. Seating, bathrooms. super nice staff and delicious japanese style dogs and fries were great. You have to like asian fusion so if you don't, don't come here....read full review

Van Hot Dog is a novelty chain hot dog restaurant offering a fusion of hot dogs and Japanese-inspired flavors. While the menu is interesting, the prices can be considered high for what is offered. The drinks, particularly the lemonade, are also quite overpriced and overly sweet. The seating, bathrooms, and staff are all reported to be pleasant. Customers who enjoy Asian fusion cuisine will likely appreciate the unique hot dog options, such as the karage and katsuya dogs, as well as the overflowing fries. However, the large menu can be overwhelming, so it's recommended to research the options beforehand.
