On the downside the prices have gone up. On the upside the remodelled location is better than before and their hours are better too. You can actually get new bakedgoods when they open.

VCC Seiffert Market and Bakeshop is inside the building of Vancouver Community College. The bakery items are prepared by the Culinary students of VCC. And they are absolutely delicious!! They have a good variety as well. But make sure to be on time, because they sell out fast!!

Great selection of breads and pastries but they sell fast between 11am and 1 pm when the classes creations make their way to the market. Scones, pies, cakes, sandwiches, salads and a range of artisan breads at good prices. Different items daily.

Must’ve came at the wrong time? 9:30am and only coffee and 40% off fruit cups and packaged calzones were available..Sad

Newly opened after renewal at Hamilton st. entrance. Coffees are available. Opens at 8:30am.

Great selection of baked goods with reasonable prices. I'd recommend trying out their brownies. They're really good, soft, and chewy. Tried their croissant twice but the tastes and textures were unstable.

I really enjoy this hidden gem in downtown. If your looking for a budget friendly bakery place this is the place to go. They have fresh baked bread, chocolate, and cakes. They have limited selection of pastries but I recommend coming first the in the morning when they’ve stocked up. Everything sells really fast so come quick if you have the sweet tooth.Today I bought the Almond Clusters for only $5 and it’s a good size to snack on. I also bought their chocolate Assorted Truffles. Both did not disappoint nor were they too sweet - they were perfect!

These guys make great baked goods when they are opened and of course available and accessible. Usually accessible in most cases although sometimes not always open which needs to be updated frequently

Came by to get some pastries and the market was closed even though it was open to staff and students no exceptions were made for me and I got rudely told to leave by security which was absolutely ridiculous vote of one star is the lowest I could go if I could have negative Stars I would. What a waste of time

You really need to “be in the know” for this place. They offer up some great lunch time offerings and baked goods, produced by the students of VCC’s culinary programs. Everything from muffins and cake slices to chicken wings and stewing beef at reduced costs. Just know that you’ll most likely be waiting in a 15+ minute line up at peak times, or if you do wait to go in off-peak times that the selection will be picked over.

The VCC culinary school cafeteria - hit or miss but usually a hit for quick, healthy and affordable lunch. Their rotating menu means lots of variety. One suggestion - it would be helpful if they posted online when they are closed / what they are serving that day

I agree with the comments about the east Indian cashier that works there. She is not very kind at all and isnonly interested in making sure that shegets first choice in what's coming in to be sold.

The cashier is so rude there,They really should learn how to serve the customer !

I went today to get some pastries. There was already a line waiting for the market to open. The East Indian female staff was very relaxed, too relaxed that as people were paying for their purchases she was busily stuffing her face with food. When I went to pay for my 3 items she entered the prices on the cash register for 2 of the items, left to take at least a 3 minute break to eat food, and once her mouth was stuffed returned to enter the price for the third item. This is totally unacceptable. Also, eating while handling food and money are unsanitary. When I left there was a long queue of people waiting to pay while she was still too busy eating to provide customer service. This staff either needs to be re-trained or let go as she obviously does not care with work other than being able to eat.
