Love this place, a much needed addition to the area, keep up the great work guys ?
Great service and beautiful view from patio. But, the food is a mistake. Go for drinks but I wouldn’t eat. The menu is no longer French but more American. We ordered two pizzas and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. All were over cooked and dry. These are fairly simple items.
great mexican brunch options!
I would go back today. Great service, great food. There were 3x of us we experienced few things on the menu and all agree we do this again on a sunny day. Thank you. ??
Awesome atmosphere, great drinks, John and Ram were SO friendly, we'll be back tomorrow for brunch!
Will not go back again. The worst brunch experience in Vancouver for over 10 years. Feels like ripped off, hooked by an advertisement of a magazine (Scout).
Tacos, burgers, pizzas, salads, everything is tasty an the taco dessert its amazing
Very nice little place on Coal Harbour. Happy hour 3 to 6 and after 9.
Excellent location by the water, friendly staff. Nice spot for weekend brunch.
It's a great place but the bar tender tries to rip off several people saying he has no change and give you less money back accounts for his large tip. That's not how tips work. So don't go here unless manager get rid of the bar tender.

Being a Scout Magazine-featured restaurant, I had very high hopes for Verre. Calling the restaurant French/Mediterranean is being generous - it was more of your typical Vancouver/PNW/Cascadia-esque bistro, if their “The West Coaster” burger or "Humboldt Bay Squid" (HB is in California, near Eureka) are any indication. I don’t know of any French/Mediterranean restaurants who would serve tuna poke tacos for brunch, or have fried chicken as the star of their menu. But I digress…
One of the newer restaurants in the city. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. One of the greatest things about the restaurant is the view they have of coal harbour and Stanley park. It is absolutely stunning! We loved the meal and had a great time. We really enjoyed the decor of the restaurant and all the staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!
On weekends, we feast ? Initially we were going to try the #DOVF menu at verre however 3 out of 4 of us were just really craving burgers that evening. So we ordered the flame grilled cheeseburger, the pacific rim chicken burger (not pictured here), the tuna poke tacos, house fried chicken and also, the crispy fried gyozas (also, not pictured here).
0 stars if possible. Enter the restaurant, clutter in the foyer, I should have taken that as a red flag. Horrible service. Ordered wine and it was dropped off at a vacant table for 5 minutes. No napkin or no cutlery even after getting our food. Water never refilled. Every time food was dropped off at our table, the server was silent, super awkward and uncomfortable interactions. After clearing our table, no one came back to our table, had to go to the bar to get our bill. Saw a table of 4 walk out of the restaurant after sitting down for less than 10 minutes. How is this place rated 4.2?
Loved your response and have noticed it is catching on all over the place. You are Verrey creative and thank-you for taking the time to write such a glowing review of Verre. We look forward to serving you again soon. Lori
