I stumbled across this place yesterday and read up on the great reviews. I just bought a lemongrass chicken banh mi today. Unfortunately, I am so disappointed! There was barely any chicken in it, the bits were hard and chewy. I could count the bits of shredded pickle in it. My lunch was just mostly bread. Perhaps it was a 'one off', but I certainly won't be rushing back.

There's a small Vietnamese-Canadian sandwich and soup noodle place located next to the Japanese hotdog shop. Their Vietnamese sandwich is excellent, made with a freshly baked bun and a variety of fillings to choose from. It's difficult to find a small sandwich shop that makes a bun with a crispy outside and soft inside, along with well-balanced flavors and ingredients. I can't wait to try their Pho and spring rolls in the next few days. It's run by a very friendly...

The bread was too soft. It should be crispy. The meat was also not the traditional banh mi ham, so the cold cut is a little bit different from the original. This restaurant is not bad, but there are better options in Vancouver area. Food: 3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
