We hired Vij’s Railway Express for a private work function at our office!From start to finish, staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful with all of our questions.The food was excellent and we got nothing but positive feedback from our clients.We would definitely recommend their services for any event!

Ordered the Oceanwise Cod Curry and it beat my expectations, especially from a food truck. Served with cumin seed basmati rice, a pickle led onion and pepper salad, and a nigella seeded yeasty naan bread. A richly spiced curry, with a reasonable portion of grilled pacific cod on top. I would have liked it to be a bit more spicy, but overall very good dish.

I've been wanting to eat at Vij's restaurant downtown so when I saw that Vij's railway express food truck was coming to New Westminster street food fest I had to try it! I will admit I was quite disappointed. I ordered a type of chicken curry dish and although it tasted great I found the "chicken" was lacking. I had 2 small pieces of cubed chicken in it and mostly sauce and some chunks of tomato. I thought I ordered a vegetarian dish because there was no chicken in it. For $12.50 each I would've expected more than just a box of basmati rice and some sauce in it. Very disappointing for sure. I also tried their house brewed iced chai tea and I found that was quite watered down as well.
