Ordered the Oceanwise Cod Curry and it beat my expectations, especially from a food truck. Served with cumin seed basmati rice, a pickle led onion and pepper salad, and a nigella seeded yeasty naan bread. A richly spiced curry, with a reasonable portion of grilled pacific cod on top. I would have liked it to be a bit more spicy, but overall very good dish.
I've been wanting to eat at Vij's restaurant downtown so when I saw that Vij's railway express food truck was coming to New Westminster street food fest I had to try it! I will admit I was quite disappointed. I ordered a type of chicken curry dish and although it tasted great I found the "chicken" was lacking. I had 2 small pieces of cubed chicken in it and mostly sauce and some chunks of tomato. I thought I ordered a vegetarian dish because there was no chicken in it. For $12.50...read full review
