I am a longtime customer of volcano sushi and tonight was my first time at their new location formerly KOKO sushi I just love the new renovation. The food as good as ever maybe even better. It was so delicious. We had sockeye salmon sashimi, bento box, prawn tempura …. Everything was just so well done and perfect. They have a neat dinner set where you can choose any three items from a list that comes with miso soup and salad. The portions are good. The BC roll is a highlight as they actually use crispy salmon skin instead of cooked salmon like some places which made it extra tasty. The unagi roll and chopped scallop roll were solid and I like their moist soft fresh sushi rice. The portion of the tuna sashimi was good but the fish quality was below average and the tuna tasted old and stringy...
