Water St. Café is a great restaurant located in Vancouver's historic Gastown district, just steps away from the famous steam clock. They offer a fresh Northwest-inspired menu with some Italian-based items. **Avocado on toast sounds boring but these guys made it fantastic somehow.** The grilled salmon is a highlight, prepared thoughtfully and served with fresh, locally-sourced vegetables and a delicious maple vinaigrette sauce. The fries and both the beef and salmon burgers also receive high praise. **Excellent focaccia and potato salad - very tasty.** The staff is attentive and the food is fabulous. **The culinary offerings were outstanding, the staff provided excellent service, and the ambiance was truly enjoyable.** It is definitely worth a visit for a delicious meal in a convenient location.
