Ordered fries from White Spot and what showed up was a box of tiny little potato nubbins—none longer than an inch. On what planet are 1-inch ends considered fries? Felt like the bottom of the fryer basket got dumped into my order. If I wanted scraps, I would’ve asked. Pretty disappointing.
Even more disappointing they responded with a link to fill out some form and provide the information about my visit and my contact information. I responded to that link immediately. And then they just straight up ghosted me.

Yes, I’m getting older and White Spot will always benefit from its nostalgic place in my heart. That said, the price gauging of this once affordable family restaurant chain is getting out of hand.

Heaven forbid you arrive at a peak busy time. Maybe it’s a sign of the times of the lack quality of help available and willing to slave away over a hot griddle for eight hours and minimum wage but we waited an hour for our food and even then it came out in waves. My kids were still waiting an extra 15 minutes for their meals after the final adult plate was delivered.
Oh, and the icing on the cake was that the Pirate Packs were missing the iconic gold coins.
Nat Bailey would be beside himself for how far his once mighty brand has fallen.
