Wow. Zabu Chicken shows an incredible side of Korean food. From presentation, atmosphere, aroma and flavors. My server deserves her own 5 stars. She was very attentive and helpful. I had the kimchi stew. It was bursting with meat and goodies, and it was so perfectly spiced. The cucumber kimchi gets a yummy shout out as well. I finished with zabu hot sticks. Again they were perfectly spiced with a nice burst of flavor easy to handle. Thank you for an outstanding experience. I can not wait to come back again.

Used to be my favorite Korean fried chicken. But tonight chicken was dry. I finished it anyway as I came from far and still like the soy taste and the crunch. Waited almost an hour for the chicken to come out and disappointed it wasn't even juicy. Hope they improve for future customers, but I won't come back.

Best korean fried chicken, hands down! ?^^ this was my comment a year ago! It was hands down best KFC in Vancouver. I am dropping 3 stars after my last visit 2 months ago. The recipe and quality of food changed dramatically. There were some improvement in the interior and serving plates. So I knew something changed. I realized the owner has changed. I appreciate the improvements but all I cared about was the fantastic chicken flavor. I know that's case for all other regulars here too. It was a weekend day and the place wasnt full. We couldn't care less about the furniture or pitcher material, please bring back the old recipe! This comes from a regular customer in past 10 years.

The fried chicken here is insanely good. I'm generally not a fan of fried chicken but holy. These were so delicious! In addition to the Soy Fried Chicken (you need to try it!), had the Bibimbap and the Tteok-bokki which were also very very tasty. The service was also great.I will warn that the spicy chicken is VERY spicy!
Chicken was okay; no “wow” factor. Corn cheese was overpriced - $15 for 6 spoonfuls.

I used to be aregular at Zabu, but food changed significantly compared to 6-8 months ago, it doesn't taste the same. They did have some improvements in interior space and now they are using new dishes and liquid containers but hey no one would actually cared about those before, we used to go there because the taste was awesome, I believe alot of customers are seeing this because the place used to be packed on the weekends but not anymore! I would say just change things the way they were before nothing was wrong back then!!!I am not planning to go there anymore.

Had a disappointing experience at Zabu. Service was slow, the japchae was much too expensive for the portion size ($30 for 2 person serving), and the fried chicken was bland. I have been to Zabu several times over the last few years but the quality of their food no longer seems worth the price.

The chicken was solid, the service was a bit slow, the vibes were nice. This feels like the place to come with a big group of friends more than it is with just 2-3 people. Would love to come back with a group and try other items!
