The food really impressed at Zapoteca. The Breakfast Burrito was my favourite while the Tacos De Pescado (fish tacos) was a kid favourite for those that like a bit of spice. I also quite enjoyed a few of their house made Tortilla chips from their deconstructed Nachos on the kids menu.
Last but not least, drinks were also a hit.

I was sat in Sarah's section, upstairs. She's a very attentive server. Helped recommend some dishes. I ordered a margarita with mezcal instead. It was so good! I also ordered the ceviche de atún and huarache with chorizo. The presentation was wonderful, the food delicious! Can't wait to come back for more!

The most amazing experience in Vancouver. A true Mexican restaurant, we had dinner tonight and we are definitely looking forward to coming back. We were a group of 6, and our experience was wonderful, Alejandra was our main server and her service was beyond amazing, definitely made everyone experience the absolute best. The food was so tasty, anything from the menu tastes delicious, portions are perfect for sharing. We had appetizers, mains, drinks and desserts and everything was a 10/10. All our drinks 100 made with love, every round keeping consistency and that great taste. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy the music, some drinks and food. This is the perfect spot. Their food are delicious, well performed and bring the home cooked dishes feeling in a romantic environment. I should not forget to mention their amazing hospitality and professional employees. I wanted something to snack on before heading to an event and found this lovely space. As soon as I walked in I felt calm and then the papas bravas I had for happy hour were yummy and the staff delightful and friendly. I would come back for dinner for sure to try more.

Best spicy margaritas in town! I joined a few ladies for the Tuesday Taco Platter which is an amazing deal I would recommend. This restaurant is in a great location at Fourth and Alma, very welcomed as there is not a whole lot to choose from. The space is large and very nicely decorated, great lighting. I have not been to the one in White Rock but would give it a try sometime.

Overall, we had a positive experience for lunch at Zapoteca. Service was very efficient. The topotos/guacamole appie was solid and the chips were delicious. Cocktails were good. The chicken enchiladas were good, though the sauce was thin and almost watery, so that was less my personal style. The chile rellenos were tastier. Overall, a solid option for Mexican food in the point grey/kits area!

Visited Zapoteca in Kitsilano for the first time for lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent and the service truly exceptional. Our server, Renato, was a delight and made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to go back. We’ve already flagged Taco Tuesday for our next visit.
