The mains were ok but one dish was mostly lettuce and the other was quite small. For $25 a plate, not a great value. The chocolate cake was a bit dry and there was not enough sauce to fix that. The room is beautiful but it echos and the booming music is too loud. The staff were lovely but I can't come back here because it costs too much and it's noisy.
OMG who knew there was such a great authentic Oaxacan Mexican restaurant in Kits?!?!?!?! I must have driven by the old Jerry's Cove pub location hundreds of times without ever noticing it had been converted into a real authentic Mexican restaurant (not TexMex) over a year ago. Food was absolutely amazing with flavours and spices i've never tasted before. From the mole to molcajete (stone bowl) dishes everything was incredibly flavourful. NO JOKE this place is the real...
Still craving the mole negro, can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes. Had the huitlacoche and sable fish and both were delicious. Drinks were great and fairly priced. Atmosphere of the restaurant was moody and dark, in a good way. Highly recommend.
