“I heard there was a new chef who did Filipino food here in the last month or two and so I stopped in for lunch. We ordered a pork knuckle dish that was out of this world delicious, crispy and rich with a perfect vinegar dipping sauce, and a pork belly dish that was also delicious and crispy and rich and like nothing I had ever tasted.On top of that we had a "chocolate dinosaur" which was a fancy chocolate milkshake type drink that was the perfect not-too-sweet despite having like five kinds of chocolate in it, and my favorite the halo halo which is a dessert full of chewy sweet textural things, ice cream, and shaved ice (like a bubble tea but more fun).On top of that the service was warm, friendly, and quick and the space was comfortable. I will definitely be stopping every time I go through town. Right on the highway so it's easy to get to. Never expected to find these sorts of flavours in Vanderhoof and I'm so glad I did.“

“I dont even have the right words to say how incredibly amazing this place is. Super busy place and we had no reso...but the servers said as long as you dont mind waiting we will fit you in. Yup! We were down no problem. Worth the drive from PG. Servers were so busy but still fun and happy. Food came out piping hot and tasty as always. Best meals ever. Cannot wait to come back for the pb and j burger. Omg yummmm. Wasnt even a long wait. And hey lady beside us who asked where your food is guess what man you were warned they were busy and they fit you in as well with no reso. Delicious!! Worth the drive and any wait!“

“I've been there a few times and the 2 servers were fantastic. Super nice and kept tabs if we needed anything. The food is good. Once I had under cooked fish, they set out fresh, fully cooked fish and gave us free drinks and appies. The atmosphere has never changed and is full of vintage decor and animals. The animals are a bit much but the atmosphere wouldn't be the same if they removed them. Try the deep fried zucchini and fish! Best crunch.Parking: Park on street or behind in the motel parking lot. There are 2 entrances, the back on has a ramp.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, loads for them to look at.Wheelchair accessibility: The back door has a ramp, however the bathroom is downstairs, no ramp.“
