Was good this time...but my husband came there and was not even given a menu or coffee ... nothing he walked out after25 minutes! Before that I was a tourist last summer at the hotel...at breakfast-practically raw bacon! Over $40 for an inedible breakfast for 2! The waitress did not take any money off! One more chance then I go no stars.
We enjoyed a very laid back daytime dinner in a beautifully designed log building with country style features, A salad bar accompanies entree meals. Today we enjoyed the specialty Jager Schnitzel, a local favorite. Country music played at a gentle volume for easy conversation. I recommend this comfortable and cozy place with kind and friendly service.Service: 5

I've been there a few times and the 2 servers were fantastic. Super nice and kept tabs if we needed anything. The food is good. Once I had under cooked fish, they set out fresh, fully cooked fish and gave us free drinks and appies. The atmosphere has never changed and is full of vintage decor and animals.
