Went to Midtown a couple weeks ago before going to the Towne Theatre for their Monday at the Arts event.
We started with cocktails, I had their house Sangria followed by a glass of wine. My friend had something with grapefruit. The drinks were fantastic!
We shared their goat cheese and pear salad, which is always incredible. We were incredibly hungry so we also ordered a prawn and chicken pasta with tons of rose sauce and fresh bread and their sliders. We were full after sharing the sliders and had to take almost the entire dish of pasta home.
Portions were huge, food was hot and extremely tasty. Our server was very friendly and hospitable.
It was my girlfriend’s first time going to Midtown and I was so proud to show her one of Vernon’s more reliable restaurants is still serving amazing quality food and service.
And unlike 90% of Vernon’s downtown restaurants, they serve fresh local made bread with their pasta and starters. I can’t wait until I have an event to try their dessert charcuterie board! 10/10
Nice little restaurant with good sliders. However our order was messed up, and the Mac n cheese we got was still frozen on the bottom. The bathroom wasnt fully cleaned and the paper towel dispensary was empty. Add that to sitting and watching the cook staff repeatedly sneeze and cough into their hands then promptly grab food makes me not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was the best food I have ever ate! I came in with my friend, service was so bright and wonderful, our food, oh my gosh!!!! It was sooo filling and so flavourful and so delicious!! And dont get me started on how amazing the hakusp cheesecake was!!! It was absolutely divine!!! ?❣️ The buns were fresh, fluffy and oh so flaky! The soup was a explosion of flavour each bite!!! And the cheese cake was such a fluffy and yet so pretty design cheese cake!! I felt like a princess eating!!

Oh and I also had an AMAZING drink! Had a cranberry? Hakusp? Whiskey Sour. I dont fully remember the name but everything was perfectly blended, the fruit was so fresh tasting in the drink and the colour was beautiful ?
Vegetarian options: I have not tried them, but I WILL be coming back to try them but they are there! ?
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and are so clear about it on their menu, they also have vegetarian options to!
Kid-friendliness: Theres good portions and food! Kind workers! And just a lovely sitting area!
Had dinner with my teenage daughter, and we decided to treat ourselves to something nicer than the usual fast food. We had a great time! The vibe was relaxed, and the service was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious—I’ll definitely be back! I think I’ll keep it this way, bringing just one of my kids or my lovely husband next time, to keep it special and budget-friendly.

What a gem in downtown Vernon! We had sliders, butter chicken, charcuterie board and pear and goat cheese salad. The charcuterie board was a work of art and just the right amount for two, alongside a shared pear and goat cheese salad. The sliders and butter chicken were also fantastic! We also had two 9oz wines at $14 each.

I ordered a Dessert Charcuterie Board to share with friends while they were visiting from Alberta. I couldn’t have been more impressed, The presentation was fabulous but the taste was even better, the carrot cake was phenomenal. The price was also very reasonable and overall it was a huge hit. I will definitely be returning when I host future parties!

I love that this place has a little bistro on the sidewalk and its super cute inside. Service was pretty slow today, although friendly. Food was okay/good. I think just acknowledging your new guests and getting them their drinks as soon as possible goes a long way! Chairs could be higher for the tables outside or vice versa.
