Shut the front door, this head chef here is so awesome, servers are also so pleasant. Vernon has a shining star here. I can’t explain how amazing this restaurant is! I’ve dined in Paris and equally impressed. A hero in any culinary delight, every bite a delight no matter what you order. SERIOUSLY, if you haven’t been there … GOOOO! I personally had to give the head chef a hug and haven’t experienced such a personal touch to cuisine like this. He was humble and thanked me saying it’s made with love. I’m actually very picky and hard to please. Yup, big city y’ain’t got nothin on this gem!

We have been here a number of times. Every other night in the last week as our home is having renovations done. Can’t say enough about the quality of ingredients and flavours used. They certainly know what they are doing. At least one Michelin Star worthy!

The food is absolutely incredible here. I've had the caper chicken and the pot roast - both were fantastic! Great vibe too, with natural wood tables and cool art. Highly recommended!

Had the pulled pork dinner with the pear salad. Dinner was excellent. The cornbread was next level. The only downside was the bartender was not there so I could not get the cocktail I wanted. Next time I’m in Vernon I’ll be back.

Entering and getting seated was a bit confusing, but the food was very good. Received exemplary service from Emma, and the food was prepared surprisingly quickly. Definitely a good local establishment to return to.

We only went in for dessert after our New year's Eve dinner and we ordered the tiramisu brownie and it was huge and delicious and so perfect. The lovely young waitress was so kind and sweet. I'm definitely going to go back there and try their food..

I hadn't been to Midtown Bistro in years... but have now been twice this year for intimate parties. My best friend hosted her wedding rehearsal dinner here back in September; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. We recommended to our mother in law to book Midtown for their staff Christmas party (which was last night) and she couldn't stop raving about how awesome the experience was. The food was delicious again and it is such a cozy space. It is nice to not have to share the space as it allows the staff provide top-notch service. The price was totally reasonable to boot. 100% recommend Midtown Bistro whether you are just stopping in for a meal or if you need to host an event.
PS - The Thai prawns were to die for, easily some of the best prawns I've ever had.
