contaminated!!! don't get infected...should be under quarantine..hosting guests known to be paid and around and caring for ostriches by CFIA Supposedly infected birds
Will never stay at a hotel that allows people stay who are culling and slaughtering 400 innocent healthy ostriches without testing them! DISGUSTING!
I don't think I'll be staying with Prestige anytime soon. Culling of 400 healthy ostriches is unjust, and housing those doing the killing is reprehensible. Further, *if* the ostriches are so contagious that they need to be killed, then why are they not in protective gear? The boots CFIA and RCMP wear at the farm are also worn in your hotel. Wouldn't that be a severe biohazard? 🤢

The hotel offers solid rooms at a good price, along with a fantastic pool and hot tub, perfect for kids. The Cabana restaurant inside the lodge is known for its excellent food. While the exterior appears standard, the interior provides a calming atmosphere that guests do not expect from Vernon, with rooms overlooking the indoor garden. The lodge is pet-friendly, contributing to a joyful environment. Many guests praised the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfort of the beds, noting spacious and quiet accommodations. The Sunday brunch was highlighted as fantastic, although some guests mentioned that improvements could be made, such as adding bacon. The lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to a casino and local attractions, making it a recommended spot for a quick getaway or stopover in Vernon. Guests appreciated the amazing service, helpful staff, and relaxing hot tub, though some wished it was open longer. Despite a few issues with noise from families, the overall experience and unique charm of the hotel make it a place worth visiting again.
